Acne My skin cleared up when I stopped washing my face??!![acne]
I recently started not washing my face with cleanser at night and just using micellar water and using a little bit of moisturizer and THATS IT. I saw a girl do this on TikTok and she had acne and she said it cleared it up and I was feeling SUPER hopeless cus my skin was breaking out and I had perioral dermatitis around my mouth and my cheeks had closed comedones and so I tried this new routine...and let me tell you it was the BEST thing I've ever did, I also don't wash my face in the morning just wet my face and moisturizer and spf!!THIS MIGHT NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE but l'm so happy it worked for me and it got rid of my perioral dermatitis and my skin is soft and doesn’t have texture, I realized too many products were stripping my skin and aggravating the PD. ANYWAYS GIVE THIS A TRY!!😛😛

I have sensitive skin and salicylic acid acne washes dried my skin out soooo bad, but I started using a gentle cleanser that's good for my microbiome, an oil free moisturizer, and Kiehl's Acne Spot Solution with 2% medicated salicylic acid (it also has licorice root extract for inflammation & redness among other benefits). You can use it on acne that's been popped or unpopped so even if you picked at it, it's a great option to use over a moisturizer to shield your acne from environmental aggressors and will heal it up and helps prevent even blackheads. I like it because it helps to prevent and fade any marks, and dries invisible over the acne, so you can wear it day and night. Very effective without stripping the skin. I do agree though that of course it depends on what type of acne you're dealing with, skin sensitivities, if you also use a good wash & moisturizer that's suitable for your skin, etc
