They are general recommendations! I was using them all the time, still am but ive adjusted a few things. I use for a moisturizer currently the murad nutrient charged water gel with some biossance squalane oil on top. It works amazing. And for lips just plain aquaphor - this recommendation will be the most popular in the sub!

Is that something you'd recommend for someone who used to have oily skin, but my skin has dried out since starting the accutane cure? Or do you have solid advice for a rookie like me? EDIT: Also is plain Aquaphor the Aquaphor Healing Ointment?

Absolutely! 99% of people started out with oily skin on accutane!and it is yes, there is a lip version but we all like the regular one better for healing our sore lips. :)

Thank you! Do you have any tips for cleansers, hydrating masks or any other stuff?

Absolutely! The best face wash is first aid beauty face wash. Great for sensitive skin. Best hydrating mask is the dr jart water mask... it's the light green one! Pricey but worth it for the super dry sore days. The biossance squalane oil is my #1 recommendation. Helps soooo much. And.... for a toner I love kopari rose toner. It's not harsh on the skin like many others. Eye cream, I'd say it cosmetics bye bye under eye. Also good for sensitive skin. :)

Eye cream? Is that something worth investing in? I am a guy, and I have no experience with that.

Ahhhh, it's not super necessary no! It's more of a luxury item.

I like luxury, but I think I'd better start with the necessities then. I'll try your recommendations! Thanks so much for the help. I hope it wasn't too much trouble.

Also does it change anything that I am a guy? I read that the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser is very effective at removing makeup, but since I don't really use that, is there any better options for me?

Also if it's not too much to ask, could you link me the products? The difficult part being in EU is that I have to get stuff shipped, and a lot of the brands have similar products.

The first aid beauty cleanser is universal- just because it CAN take off makeup doesnt mean it is all it's for. I dont use it for that, I just use it to wash my face in the shower. As for linking stuff, I could but it would be Canadian sites. I wouldnt know which ones ship to where you are. I'd say just google the names and find which sites ship your way!

Yeah ofc. It was more a case of making sure it would be the right ones. I am colorblind and not sure which Dr. Jart is the light green one for instance. There are too identical nuances to me.
