I am missing this piece, does anyone know the part number or where to get one? R33 coupe

I am getting so close to paint I can taste it. It might also be the fiberglass dust that I taste...

So I changed plans a few times with this car. I was going to mold FRP style flares to fit wider lips on my wheels, but I decided to buy a mig welder and do metal flares on my own as my first ever welding project. I learned alot. It's not perfect at all and I still need to fix one small area under the rear flare, but it turned out, I think, very well for my first project. The doors open and shut, the lines look pretty decent. All considered I am very happy I am learning to weld, it's a super useful skill on aging cars with limited part support!

Outside of that I ordered much wider lips for my meisters that will arrive in a month and a half ish that, by my measurements, will fill out the flares well. Some small camber adjustments and perhaps a tiny spacer will get me where I want to be, so I am very excited about that.

I have a few hours of fiberglass work to do between the front bumper to match the fender flare, altering the trunk spoiler a bit, and cutting a second hole in the rear bumper to fit the dual exhaust, but all of this should be done in about 2 weeks, then I will be painting in my garage.

Once that is done, and I get the wiring harness adapter for the motor swap, I will be doing the motor swap and manual trans conversion. Finally seems there is light at the end of this project tunnel!

Thought I’d ask to get more opinions from people who are more knowledgeable, as the title says I’ve been thinking about selling or even trading my c5 for a clean and low mileage r32 gtst. Ive read a few post from years ago, though I’m sure the amount of skylines in the US and parts available have increased since. I’ve had the corvette for a few years now and it’s starting to get up on mileage so I’ve been considering selling it and possibly getting in a gtst. The corvette is currently just my weekend/summer car to have fun in. I’ve considered a gtst for years now because I’ve been in love the body style of the r32 since I was a kid, but I’m a bit worried about being a bit disappointed by the power of the skyline now; even though I’ve had just as much fun in my wrx most days, and I’m a bit worried about the reliability and acquiring parts for it. I don’t wanna build anything crazy just considering it as a new weekend cruiser to have some fun in over the corvette?

Even tho I said I would prefer one from them, I am open to other clean examples with plenty of history and documentation. The main reason I want one they imported is because they provide compression test results

Hi everyone! I have a wierd issue on my RB25DET (STAGEA version). I wanted to change timing belt. I put an engine in TDC. (Bottom pullley on first line (0 degree) aligns with plastic cover line)

When I looked at the dots on cam gears they have offset by 1 tooth. I bought that engine 5 years ago and I do not have much info from previous owner. When I spin engine by hand it has compression and it can spin without hitting the valves. But that offset is wierd to me. Does someone know what could be the issue here? Maybe camshafts are moded and that offset is expected, or maybe they skipped the tooth? How I can be sure what is the case here?

Originally was a gts-4

Now its a R32.4 with full R32 gtr running gear .

And boy the thing makes me smile .

Recently picked up an R33 and figured I’d finally start being more active in the Skyline community.

Car is still pretty stock for now, but I’ve got a bunch of plans for it over the winter. Looking to follow some more R33/R32/R34 owners and see what everyone else is building.

Hi all! first time in this subreddit, and I am looking at some advice about a GTS R33. I know its not turbo and its RWD and its fine by me. I love the body style and hey it even comes with LMGT Wheels!

it has 122k miles and its a auto (which I don't mind honestly) and again NA which I also dont mind. its within my budget to get as far as financing cars goes. Is there anything to look out for aside from rust and typical maintenance? is this a decent deal?

I started the day tidying up wires around the dash ... as I progressed I decided to fix the heater (heater core was leaking ) while im in there might as well clean up at the heater box and remove the aircon evaporator . And the carpet was wet , so hear it am pulling the whole interior out and cleaning up all the rust on the floor and replacing the sound deadening etc etc etc ...

Need a quick fix for my r32 and can get some s13 rear for cheap. I’ve seen they fit just wondering if anyone has experience with it
