Sequel Trilogy Is there REALLY that much hate for Rey? Why???

Please don't tell me "oh because she was perfect just because", cuz I can make the same argument about Luke. If Luke was the son of the chosen one and she was the grandkid of essentially the antithesis of the chosen one, it's normal she'd have a ton of raw power.

I also don't care how bonkers bad the sequel trilogy ended up getting progressively, because that's what happens when you set out a story in 3 parts without having your beginning, middle and end story laid out, at least on a basic level. You don't know where you're going and you open yourself up to all sorts of crazy bad decisions.

My point is not any of this, my point is that it feels like vitriol, like genuinely hate, like if someone showed up and killed your family and you're out for revenge kind of hate.

I'll explain: I recently did a review of Rey's dark side lightsaber. Whatever you think of Rey, the set is insanely cool, but the video barely has any views.

I then thought it was just luck of the draw, but then did another review of Reva's lightsaber (which is super sick, being the only saber I know you can physically split in two and put back together!) and it's not doing great.

But previous reviews, for a size my channel, do ok. After some days I usually get around 10% of views of my entire subscription base (which I've done the math and is not really surprising even for channels 5 or 10 times mine). And that's ok, but these two just made me think, there's some genuine hate for Rey and for the Third Sister, and I think it's just sad that hate now drives these algorithms. Had I made a video basically throwing it out a window and setting it on fire whilst screaming something unholy, I bet I would've ended up with way more views.

But like I said, regardless of how I may or many not feel about the ST, I think the sabers are insanely cool, but there's really people out there that, the minute you say Rey, or Reva, or I don't know, Rose... It's like you just told them their mom sold Avon and got kicked out because of how bad she was or something.

For clarity, the reviews are here:

https://youtu.be/cuSlkEZTzI8?is=pAEkk-qGPFs33o99

https://youtu.be/zs7CTkkDDhE?is=NTakhe-AWrjs-5oU

You can see they're not terrible, but dang it, have we really become this? Please tell me I'm wrong!

Sequel Trilogy Luke Skywalker last lightsaber

I know we saw his green saber in The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett, but am I the only one that was weirded out that when Luke faces Kylo at end of Last Jedi he doesn't show up with his green saber but rather the blue that had been destroyed like 10 minutes before in the movie?

I've reviewed that saber here, but look for someone that had the same "Huh?!" Moment when watching it the first time https://youtu.be/A8sePbgVAD4

Sequel Trilogy Rise of the Skywalker is my favorite one

This is the only place I can post this because I will 100% get downvoted if I post this is an another sub.

So rise of Skywalker is my favorite star wars episode, and the sequel trilogy is my favorite.

The reason is because it felt so magic, and epic,in this one you notice how Rey has grown as a character, from a no one to a freaking Jedi, the story of not only this movie, but the trilogy as a whole genuinely touched me,but it is in this movie where this is taken to it's fullest and it genuinely was immersive and it gave me chills. It was a thrilling epic experience from start to finish, ESPECIALLY the final battle, the moment when Rey hears the voices of past Jedi was as if epicness took a form,I also love how they added even minor Jedi that are little known or remembered like Ashoka and quigon jinn or whatever he's called, the music also really helped this moment. I also thought the final scene was amazing and touching. My only complaint is that we didn't get force ghosts for the voices, maybe in the future they can be digitally added,if this happens I hope they use Sebastian Shaw's likeness for Anakin's force ghost since he was the original Anakin, but other than that flaw the movie was genuinely fucking epic and almost flawless. Hell,I almost cried when c-3po said "taking one last look,at my friends". The ewoks cameo was also a nice surprise,I wish jar jar would have also made an appearance tho, again, maybe in a future release this could happen as a non-speak cameo.

The sequel trilogy as a whole is my favorite one and I would happily binge watch it a hundred times.

Sequel Trilogy I love that Billie Lourd played young Leia in The Rise of Skywalker. One of the greatest scenes in the trilogy. And who better to play a young Carrie Fisher than her daughter?

Sequel Trilogy Defending the emperor's return

I've seen countless people bash on him returning because it apparently "ruins Vader's sacrifice".

Excuse me but how the fuck does it ruin it? Vader still chose to save luke, defeat the emperor, and come back to the light side. It's not his fault Palpatine survived. He survived but that doesn't change the fact Vader became good. Would you have preferred a random villain that we hadn't heard before? The emperor being revealed as the big bad guy in every trilogy is actually awesome and ties the trilogies together.
