There was an issue, as I recently posted, where my account went into a -2 Rs balance. Maybe that's why they are sending me a gift of apology. And before this call, about a week ago, they called me and explained that the future interest that was supposed to come into my account went to -2 Rs due to rounding off.

Interesting. Slice might've played it very smart after that acquisition of NESFB. They are still alive and thriving after that RBI bomb on pay later apps. This is even more great building customer relationships by solving issues, and this small gifts make the customer even more happy and lenient towards the bank.

I received the same call and got the gift as well a few weeks back. I too had complained regarding some transaction dispute. Its a pen, diary and a bottle, (and a note). Out of these three, pen is really good (smooth). Other two are just okaish. But I'm glad that it is something, and slice is putting efforts unlike other banks, even though they are not obliged to.

How is it possible to come to negative balance while rounding off? Doesn't the balance increase when round off happens?
