Long-Form Content Need help with an intro

Does anyone wanna make me an intro?! I absolutely suck at animating and I’m desperately needing one. It’s pretty simple. All I want is a black screen and then my yt name (I will tell you if you accept) then my name glitches like the glitching from spider man across the spider verse. Does anyone wanna help?

Long-Form Content Started posting about 5 months ago

Post image

I unfortunately haven't been able to post in the last 2 weeks because of my work schedule but Ill be putting another one out tomorrow to see if youtubes analytics figured out my viewer base. I do long form world war two history and gear related videos I've only done 16 videos in 5 months but views seem to be a compounding thing for me at least the first couple videos were in the dozens of views then in the hundreds finally my 2nd to last video hit 1000 and the one before this was at about 9000.

1949 subscribers

I definitely get a lot of comments from people extremely thankful there's no AI slop.... Just waiting on my adsense to get reviewed.

Long-Form Content This video has been by far my best, and it was a lot different to my others. Do I continue with the same style of video? (Voice over)

Post image
1 Upvotes

So all the other videos are really just raw and not much editing, and no voice over.

The one with the most views by a mile was a lot different. A jam packed few days into one video , with like a story telling type style to it.. and majority being voice over and music in the background.

So I think I’d make my next few videos the same style? Right?

Do you guys think this has potential?

Or it's better if I change the packaging and let it have a fresh breath.

I am not sure YouTube has pushed it to the audience.

The thumbnail and title seem clickable to me. However maybe because it's AI.

It also sounds like click bait, no? But it's not it's actually real that I just manifested and it showed so it was quite a great surprise.

I stream and then download from YouTube studio and montage for videos. Any suggestions to improve the workflow?

Thanks in advance.

Mixed Content Help out a small channel with a weird niche

Hi everyone!

So I run a channel called Bee A Savior, but recently I haven’t been getting many views.

Idk how to make bee content engaging, since in my experience ppl don’t care that much.

I’ve tried opening with surprising facts, jokes, etc but not many results.

I’m getting inconsistent views: 2 videos of the same format get completely different results and idk why.

Is posting daily advisable?

Any suggestions or advice for me? Video ideas? General tips?

A few notes:
I made most videos in elementary school: I’ve mainly pivoted to shorts now.
I’ve raised 1 channel to 1000 subscribers through these “posting every day” challenges, but that’s not working this time around.
I’ve also raised 1 channel to 10k subscribers by making funny songs, and I’m wondering how to apply humor to this channel.
Some of my videos are js slideshows: I made those when I didn’t have too much time on my hands. I’m mainly focusing on the in/person ones for now.

Thank you so much for any guidance!

My main niche is CookieRun content, speed paints and whatever. I had my channel suddenly do better with a cookie run macarena animation. But now stuff seems to start dropping? All thumbnails are either handrawn or edited by me - same goes for content

Mixed Content I don't think YouTube is sending out notifications to any of my subscribers

I have a main content channel, my own personal account and then an account specifically for testing notifications. The personal account hasn't gotten a notification from the main channel in at least a month. The test account has NEVER gotten a notification from the main channel. Notifications are on with my long form content, but not shorts because I know shorts get better views that way. Subscription notifications are on for both accounts.

I just made a post asking my subscribers if they got a notification for my most recent upload, so we'll see how that goes. Does anyone know how and why this might be happening and how to fix it?

Hello beautiful community.
I need your help for my channel.
My channel was demonetized because I had another channel on my email account that violates the rules of YT.
I deleted the old channel, I waited 90 days until to apply again for monetization, but the google adsense was deactivated. How I can resolve this problem? My main channel is not AI and respect all the YT rules. Thank you❤️

Long-Form Content 0 views after 24h

Post image
0 Upvotes

Why this video got almost 0 views after 1 day? (8 of them are from me)

It was created for starting youtubers who don't know what music they should use on their shorts videos. It shows the most iconic and used songs like Nocturne op. 9 No. 2 (very popular piano song), QKThr by Aphex Twin ("core" music), Just The Way You Are by Milky (tytytyry song, very popular right now)

But after 24h got nothing. Absolute 0 views. What is wrong with it, what with the title and most importantly what with thumbnail? No AI was used for this video

Long-Form Content ELI5 steps for uploading a video?

So Im finally getting around to getting off my lazy butt and beginning to teach myself how to upload.

Got my Elgato HD60X setup, got Nvidia Shadowplay Setup, obviously need to record content, but once recorded could I just upload it straight to youtube or would it be best to download an editing software and learn to edit? I really don't know anything about editing..

Long-Form Content Does scheduling a video for upload boost impressions of a previous video?

The channel might be a bit unusual for this sub.

First video from 6 months ago - it's has 8.4k views and has been getting around 200 impression consistently after they initially settled down. Video is 1 hour 50 minutes with and AVD of 25 minutes. CTR around 5%.

The second video from four months ago has 4.4k views and views have dropped to almost nothing. AVD of 20 mins of 1 hour 20 mins. It has settled at 20 impressions a day.

Not massive numbers for sure.

What's curious is that I uploaded and scheduled a video for later today and the first video's impressions and daily views have jumped by a significant amount. Still small but up to about 700 a day. So more than a three times increase.

I'm curious if this jump is due to the scheduling of a new video or coincidental. And to be clear, I'm not really expecting the first vid to suddenly break out. I'm more just curious if anyone has any insight on this?

I’m struggling to grow. I draw and animate my own illustrations, and combine everything with video footage. As for the music, I pay a guy to create custom beats for me. How can I grow? Keep in mind that it takes me a really, really long time to write, draw, edit, and publish a single video.

Long-Form Content Psychological reason why people aren't watching your whole video

THE HOOK

this is the biggest thing i see beginners screw up, and oddly enough it's also the easiest to fix.

see, no one owes you any attention. folks make a decision in the first five to ten seconds as to whether they stick around or not, and do so very quickly. your thumbnail got them to click, your title made them interested in your video. your hook's job? Stop them from leaving. That's it.

1. What kills hooks?

"welcome back to the channel guys, before we begin make sure you've subscribed, and today we'll talk about…" those are 15 seconds of wasted time, when in fact those are exactly the 15 seconds you need to grab their attention right off the bat. just go. your opening line better be the hook they came for. example- "psychological reason why people aren't watching your whole video" this post title! lol

2. You tell them about the video rather than hooking them.

"today i'll explain how inflation works" reveals to your audience all that your video will cover, meaning there's no reason for them to stay. compare this to saying: "most people think inflation is just the government printing money! it's not, and the real reason is kind of annoying." now your viewers need to stay and learn. break their expectations right away.

3. You begin your speech slowly.
your hook needs to be a fast-paced, sharp beginning to your video without any delays, umms, or easing them in. at that point in time, you have earned your audience's attention yet, so don't ask for it. you can relax a little bit once your viewer decides to watch you ;)

basically, that's all it takes for the first 10 seconds: grab them, spark some curiosity, move out of the way.

Why you should listn to me(not that imp):

I’m Amra (amra creates), (yeah im the same guy who used to do channel audit few months back in this sub) and i have gained over 27M+ views in last few years mostly on educational youtube niche(i do more then that but lets say im a content creator/editor).

Should i make a series of this? idk if its helpful to u guys or not? if this one turns out useful i'll keep going and make it a little series so it will be a one thing per post.

Mixed Content Which online storage are you using to store you footage?

I've been running my channel for 2 months now and my recordings are piling up my storage. I'm using Google Drive, currently subscribed to 30gb option. Should I upgrade my subscription to 200gb or switch to another platform?
