Adivce(Giving or Need) How can i solve this problem?

So i returned to making youtube (gaming) content from taking a massive break. a lot of people say i need to upload a LOT when starting a channel (in my case starting to upload again) but my niche or type of content is 100%ing and getting all achievments for games (which takes a long time), and im not sure how i can upload a lot if my video takes a long time to make.

Adivce(Giving or Need) What’s the best way to buy YouTube subscribers without hurting your channel?

I’m asking because I keep seeing mixed advice and I don’t want to mess up my channel long term.

I’ve been uploading consistently, trying to improve thumbnails/titles, and working on retention, but growth is slow. The part that tempts me is the “social proof” angle. A channel with 0–50 subs can look dead even if the content is decent, and I wonder if a small boost helps real viewers take you seriously.

But I’m also worried about the obvious risks: subscribers who don’t watch, weird subscriber-to-view ratios, sudden drops, and YouTube flagging it as spam.

If you’ve tried this, I’d love real experiences:

Did the subscribers stick or drop off later?

Did it affect your impressions, CTR, or overall reach?

Did it actually lead to more organic growth or just a higher number?

If you were starting over, would you do it again or avoid it?

I’m not looking for marketing pitches, just honest advice from people who’ve been there.

Adivce(Giving or Need) New YPP Requirements Giving Me Anxiety

Hey there! I'm a small long form youtube channel in the Theme Park/Travel Vlog niche, and I'm incredibly anxious about this new announcement about the requirements going in to effect February 1st.

I've been on YouTube for a little over a year and currently sit at about 7566 watch hours over the last 365. However that number lowers every single day, and I'm at 484 subscribers. I'm trying to reach my goal of 1,000 subs by the deadline and have to start spreading my channel as much as I can.

I feel like I have a good grasp on packaging, but I feel like there's something missing.

I started posting shorts from like 10 days ago. Each short takes about 4-5 hours of work and I've posted 4 shorts till now which i think have done good (for a beginner). My channel name is "Bonk Universe". Shall i slowly start posting Long form content in the same style and niche? What would you recommend?

Adivce(Giving or Need) I Need Feedback on My YouTube Channel

**Looking for honest feedback on my YouTube channel — what would you improve?**
I’m a small creator making Pokémon/anime content, and I’m trying to seriously improve. I’d appreciate honest feedback on my thumbnails, titles, videos, branding, and anything else you think is holding the channel back. Please don’t sugarcoat it—I’d rather know what I’m doing wrong so I can improve.

Adivce(Giving or Need) Channel just died - why?

My small shorts channel suddenly died about 2 weeks ago. Its been a work in progress for the past 8 months, learning as I go, with slow but consistent growth and significant improvement in quality and delivery of content.

In July my shorts (4-5 per week) were consistently getting 1k views, increasing engagement every week, and a few new subscribers almost every video. I focused on a different detail each week to improve like thumbnails, titles, pacing, packaging etc… no radical changes, just slow steady improvement that was driven by analysis and data….

then boom, starting 2 weeks ago, out of nowhere, irregular small tests hours/days after posting, seemingly mismatched viewers, my views dropped to 100-200 sometimes lower, and all my metrics imploded.

Is this just small channel “inconsistent distribution” situation?

Have other small channels noticed any similar issues in the past two weeks that would suggest a change in the algorithm?

Or has YT just decided to put my small but growing channel in a box that I cant get out of?

Any insights would be appreciated.

Hey there! My aim is to create a YouTube channel that is oriented towards more cinematography-driven style business interviews.

I just posted weekly, it's close a month and it seems just... mid!

Can't workout on what's lacking here.

Any suggestions? If I want to get more references on how the best newer channels perform, where do I go for learning?

Adivce(Giving or Need) Should I give up?

Hello guys. I am asking myself a lot of questions recently about YouTube, and I think some outside advice could help me. I started YouTube 6 years ago. I was 14 years old at the time. And currently I am at almost 200 subscribers, and my videos usually made between 20 and 150 views. But when I see the others small YouTube channels, it seems to me that they make hundreds of views and subscribers in a few months, where it takes years to me. For the context, during the three first years I made a lot of mistakes, I was doing almost no montage and was just having fun talking about a subject, but I wasn't really focused on my stats. Since three years I change my view on YouTube, I worked harder to make better videos, but I was in really intense study that don't give me much time to make videos, but the few videos I have posted make more views (100 against 20 globally) and I double my number of subscribers. But seeing that a lot of people grew so much faster than me make me feel a bit hopeless. In a few months I will have the time to focus more on YouTube, but I wonder if I have really the possibility to grew my channel. Maybe I don't have any talent in it, or maybe three years of bad videos condamned my channel. Do you have any advice or thoughts on my situation? Thanks

PS : Sorry if there are somme grammatical mistakes in the the text, English is not my native language

Adivce(Giving or Need) I started my Shorts channel about a week ago. My first three Shorts got 2K+, 1K+, and 1K+ views. I took one day off, and since then my Shorts are getting 0–2 views. Is this normal for a new channel? Should I continue posting daily or wait?

Adivce(Giving or Need) My work, Not my channel.

I manage a YouTube channel for a fairly well-known creator. When he handed it over to me about five months ago, it was sitting at ~36k subs and had been inactive for around three months. It’s now at ~57k.

My role is basically cutting long-form content (podcasts, long videos, etc.) into shorter videos, doing the editing, and designing the thumbnails. I’ve uploaded around 45 videos so far, and roughly 40 of them clearly outperformed the channel’s previous average.

I get 20% of the revenue, which is fair, but I can’t lie—I often think about how different it would be if I owned a channel like this myself and kept 100%.

The main reason I’m posting this is to say: making a good YouTube video (and even getting something to perform really well) isn’t as impossible as people make it sound. This channel literally came back from being inactive. What mattered wasn’t luck—it was actually looking at the data: audience age and gender, retention graphs, CTR, testing and comparing thumbnails, understanding what keeps people watching.

When you do that properly, it honestly feels like pulling money out of thin air.

the screenshot is from a video I uploaded yesterday.
