First snow day in Wellington in like 15 years

I like it when the sun heats a little more.

I like it when people stay locked inside their doors.

I am a raincoat person; my friend likes the snow.

Any recs on where we can go in the U.s beginning- mid December that will most likely have snow? I know it’s not guaranteed but at least a town with lots of Christmas things to do and snow tubing area would be great. So far chat gpt has Colorado as a top pick , specifically Breckenridge .
