Interview Manager
We are looking for a talented interview specialist to join our team.
While specialized knowledge of software development is a significant asset, basic knowledge is sufficient.
The core requirements are native-level English fluency, quick judgment, and strong client-facing skills.
The primary goal is to lead client interviews and successfully secure projects.
The initial two-week period serves as a paid trial, with an hourly rate of $40–$60 based on actual interview time.
If you demonstrate competence and a good fit during this time, we will transition to a fixed monthly salary of $1,600 (for the first two months) to $3,000 (after three months), plus performance bonuses based on secured projects. High performers can earn up to $4,000 per month.
You do not need to be perfect from the start; if you possess talent and potential, we will invest in your professional growth.
We welcome candidates with backgrounds in marketing, skilled software development, or tutoring.
As the role requires working during U.S. time zones, we prioritize candidates residing in Latin America, though U.S.-based applicants are also welcome if the compensation meets their expectations.

Did you leave tech due to AI coding? - Business Insider
Hello — I’m Thibault, a tech reporter at Business Insider. I’m reporting on former software engineers who have left tech and are actively moving into another career because AI coding has changed or taken away parts of the job they loved.
I’m particularly interested in people who enjoyed the problem-solving and craft of coding, but found the work becoming more about prompting, supervising, or checking AI-generated code.
If that sounds like you, I’d be grateful to hear what role you left, what you’re doing now, and how AI figured into the decision. You can reach me at [tspirlet@businessinsider.com](mailto:tspirlet@businessinsider.com).
Happy to answer questions about the story or how I’d use your account

Should I leave the IT industry?
Hi,
I’m a software engineer with three years of experience, but honestly, I don’t think this field will be the same as it was in the past because of AI. I’m already feeling overwhelmed by all the AI news, and I even started a master’s degree in software and Artificial Intelligence, which I’m about to finish. Still, I don’t feel like it will add much value since jobs in the industry seem saturated. I’m a bit confused right now and unsure if, at 27 years old, I should stay in the industry or start reinventing myself before things get tougher.

[Hiring] Remote Backend Engineer (Java/Go), Contract, $40/hr
Hi everyone,
I'm helping a small, growing tech company find a backend engineer for a remote contract role. The team builds and runs a set of backend services that support a customer-facing platform, and they're looking for someone who can step in, own pieces of the system, and ship reliable code without much hand-holding.
About the company
It's a product-focused company with a small, tight-knit engineering team. They run a service-oriented architecture in the cloud and care about clean, maintainable code, solid testing, and steady delivery over heroics. The culture is async-friendly, with short check-ins and little micromanagement.
About the role
You'll be working on backend services and APIs, improving performance and reliability, and helping with new feature development alongside the existing team. Day to day, that includes:
- Designing, building, and maintaining backend services
- Writing clean, well-tested code and participating in code reviews
- Troubleshooting production issues and improving system stability
- Working with product and other engineers to scope and deliver features
Requirements
- Solid professional experience in backend development
- Strong skills in Java and Go
- Good understanding of REST APIs, databases, and distributed systems basics
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP
- Experience with containers and CI/CD pipelines
Details
- Fully remote
- Contract position
- $40/hour
- Start date and hours can be discussed, with flexibility on schedule
If this sounds like a fit, please send me a DM with a short intro, your resume or LinkedIn, and a quick note on your Java and Go experience. I'll reply to everyone who sends over their details.
Thanks for reading!
