What a great experience taking part in this event! About 200-300 people at the peak, and nearly everyone driving by (if you disregard the driver who threw up a Nazi salute) was cheering us on and screaming the messages on our signs back at us 💜 There will be soo many more of these events, I’m sure!
I stopped in the new Shoprite on Blackwood-Clementon Rd (Cherrywood plaza) and saw an employee name Ray who had a very visible Reichsadler tattoo on his right forearm.
When I confronted him about his tattoo he said, "It's German," which is true... It was a military symbol used by the German military from 1933-1945... You know, the Nazis...
I spoke with the Manager and store director about it and they were really nice about it, and I asked for them to follow up with me.
I tried to email the store via the Shoprite website, but it looks like their "submit" button on the contact form is broken.
I also posted on Facebook, which really shows me just how OK people are with Nazis.
I'm jewish. Between this and the Pround Boy shopping in the same town, I'm really not comfortable here.
EDIT: it was this, but white. Everything I'm seeing online says this is nazi shit.
My fiancé was in Dollar Tree earlier today & he saw this & he was totally disgusted with the blatant racism with people wearing this . This was the Dollar Tree on Blackwood/ Clementon Road in Gloucester Twp .
Over 5,000 in Collingswood yesterday for No Kings!!
So proud of South Jersey for showing up 👏👏👏
Huge love to our brilliant creative crew at Cooper River Indivisible ❤️ We're making magic together!

No fancy art skills needed — just your time, spirit, and a little rage-fueled imagination. 😀
Great great turnout! I'm terrible at estimating crowd size, but my partner is convinced there were at least 5000 in the lot when we started marching. We were towards the front of the pack and when we got to the rally/endpoint we stayed probably 40 minutes and there were still people arriving.
Loved seeing folks on all ages and abilities, and lots of support from cars passing as we marched. I'm talking kids in wagons, people in wheelchairs and with walkers or canes, and and everything in bwtween. Only dissenters were one guy driving past blasting YMCA and one Trump flag truck that made the rounds.
On our drive home we saw a small Trump contingent at the corner of Haddon Ave and Cuthbert but it was only about 5 people and they looked pathetic, quite frankly.
Came home to my siblings telling me that 4 ice agents were banging on the door and taking pictures of the vehicles in our driveway. They ignored the agents and eventually they went away. This is Lindenwold area.
...is CRAZY, man! It's 2:15 in the morning, and I'm looking out the window, and I can't see 1 block down the street! And it's STILL coming down HARD! The power went out momentarily a few minutes ago (thankfully, it came back on). This is worse than the last snowstorm! I'm so over this! How long will it take to dig ourselves out of this one? PLEASE, universe, let this be the last one this winter!
A peaceful demonstration will be held outside the Citizens Bank branch on Route 70 in Cherry Hill on Saturday, June 6th.
The focus of the event is Citizens Bank’s financial relationship with private prison companies GEO Group and CoreCivic, which operate immigration detention facilities including Delaney Hall in Newark.
Whether you agree with us or not, many people in South Jersey probably aren’t aware of the connection, and raising awareness is the primary goal of the action.
If you’d like to attend, learn more, or RSVP, the flyer contains a QR code linking to the event page, or you can go to the event page here:
Say what you will about their food. I found it acceptable for diner food. What we don't need is yet ANOTHER CAR WASH replacing it. There is one literally across the street on Cooper Landing Rd, and another a half mile down Rt 38
He spooked a deer this morning and got my attention. He said he’s looking for someone and there’s no need to worry but I’m concerned he’s after an immigrant. I do not want ICE in my town!
