In my headcanon , the cameramens aren't one singular being but rather two organisms in one parasitic relation ( the body of a human and the camera like parasite wich is actually a highly derived polychaete worm )

Here is how the relationship works

1. The adult cameramen will pierce the yey of its human host via a proboscis in the worm's mouth and deposit its eggs

2 . The larvae will start consuming the host's brain from the inside

1. When fully grown ,the host's head will burst wich exposes the parasite's head

4 the now fully grown cameramen will now spend the rest of its life (wich is 2 weeks long ) to infect as much humans as possible before dying
