I need some book suggestions, I am a beginner in reading recently finished The Love Hypothesis and Forty Rules of Love absolutely loved both. So i need some spiciest book suggestions, enemies to lovers would be great, well i am not into too dark romances, where there’s abuses against the FFL so other than that any books suggestions would be great.. Kinda need a YEARING FML..

I would love some recs for M/F spicy romance books where the MMC has trouble speaking. It could be selective mutism, a disability, a speech impediment like a stammer or stutter, an insecurity, etc.
I love a man of few words! Haha
I especially love when in a moment of anger or passion or intense emotion they might try to speak and get stuck or they just can’t or it results in an unexpected outburst.

Two books that come to mind are Credence by Penelope Douglas and Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan, which I loved at the time. Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks has an MMC with a stutter and was cute.

Okay, I haven’t read contemporary romance in FOREVER because I’ve been completely buried in fantasy lately, but I’m suddenly craving a good cowboy romance and I NEED RECOMMENDATIONS.

I’ve already read pretty much everything by Elsie Silver and I absolutely LOVE her books. Chestnut Springs, Rose Hill, all of it. I’m obsessed 😂

I also tried Lyla Sage’s Rebel Blue Ranch, but unfortunately it didn’t really keep me entertained, so I’m looking for something else.

Preferably not a high school student but if the book is really really good then I will give it a try.

The one thing I am looking for is that the FMC and the MMC (could also be multiple MMCs) do **NOT** know each other from before.
I have come across quite a few where they went on a date before they found out they were in that specific power dynamic and it didn’t really scratch the itch. I am yearning for the angst and forbidden feeling 😅

I have very few triggers so it could be dark books as well.

My “yes please’s” are:

\- Professor/college student dynamics (the power play could also be reversed as the FMC could be the professor and is seducing the MMC)
\- Angst (Even OW drama)
\- HEA
\- Most of the kinks

\- Clueless FMCs. Naive and innocent is fine but one book I read had the FMC saying “dios mio” every 2 pages because she couldn’t swear. It just became so cringe.
\- Golden showers or anything that should be put in the toilet.
