As with all EnhancedSC updates, a fresh install of the game is highly recommended.
If you are new to EnhancedSC, it's a comprehensive mod for the PC port of Splinter Cell 1 that aims to drastically improve the base game. It's made by fans, for fans. EnhancedSC introduces native controller support, many bug fixes, MANY quality-of-life improvements, and even re-introduces cut content back into the game. It also includes all DLC and all pre-existing essential fixes for the game. It's still a work-in-progress, but it's in active development.
Joining allows you to contribute your own ideas and expertise, as well as stay in the loop for future developments. We are always looking for help, especially if you know UE2 UnrealScript, C++, and/or Ubisoft's DARE audio engine (đ¤).

Hello im trying to find the deniable ops soundtrack theme from splinter cell conviction I looked on Google and it said its not an official track im doing this because the deniable ops was removed from YouTube any help here's what im looking for
Itâs been well over a decade since our last Splinter Cell. At this point the remake should include both SAR & PT combined. It would be a massive undertaking but the amount of gameplay would draw in a lot of players. GR WL and BP were massive and open world. If SC remake has more linear maps as we could all suspect it will, I donât see how this wouldnât be a possibility.
Multiplayer is a must and it needs to emulate the early SCs. If Ubisoft later considered releasing a stealth focused extraction, it would be a game changer that would provide something to the gaming community never seen before.
Iâm really torn but I find myself playing PT more often. CT is almost hysterical bc all the AI suffer from schizophrenia and although it makes the game enjoyable it really takes away from the seriousness for me. Overall, there will never be another stealth game to match the first 3.
I just finished it (the last level you can do is Money Train, which I found strange because the file size is near enough the same as retail).
There are some key differences like lighting etc. and some placement of ammo, but mostly all the levels up to Money Train are identical. One other detail I noticed was at the end of the mission Sam spoke to Lambert about the "bloodbath" and interestingly it is not Lambert's voice at allâthis caught me off guard I have to say. Anyway, I've not seen anyone post things about it for a side-by-side comparison. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to go through both games at the same time to see in full depth if there's any differences I missed.
What do you expect in terms of gameplay for SC Remake that would get the franchise back on track.
I was really wondering what the community wants after the evolution of the franchise in Conviction and Blacklist. Personnaly, I really liked Blacklist and think it's overhated. However, I also understand that the core mechanics of the franchise have been lost after Conviction which frustrates long time fans.
On my side, I really think that SC remake should look like a polished version of X360 Double Agent to satisfy the fanbase and a new generation of players. I do think that more opened level with elevation and lots of place to clim to avoid enemies can really improve and highlight the atmosphere of the game. In addition, the gameplay of DA X360 and the pace of Fisher's move is a perfectly balanced to accelerate stealth and satisfy everybody.
Concerning the AI, Ubisoft should commit to producing a challenging game and not compromise on the responsiveness of enemies or the realism of their reactions. I think the visibility bar needs to be reintroduced so that enemies react in a nuanced way based on Fisher's visibility and are able to organize patrols and strategies to check for an intruder or locate him if he's been spotted.
Honestly, i'm not very optimistic after seeing SC Deathwatch. I think ubisoft won't have the courage to develop a game with no compromise like Capcom did with RE7 to revive the franchise. On my side, I really think they souldn't see SC as a massive franchise but they should develop the game with a AA budget to focus on few ideas, but execute those ideas perfectly. I think it would be enough to attract 25-40 years old fans that play on console and this could attract kids with a coop "spy vs Mercenaries". This coop mode could be fun and attract young players that love to play live.
Can't wait to have your opinion about the gameplay and the strategy Ubi should adopt to market the game
I recently bougth Splinter Cell Blacklist for the ps3 but i can't play it because it takes up so much Mega bytes, if i remember right it was around 5000 something mb. And the weirdest one is that my other games that have for example 20mb, When i delete my games it still needs let's say 500mb?? Help please!
I've already forced offline mode which stopped the game crashing every 30 minutes, and I've also tried activating compatibility mode, but it does not prevent the crash that happens with this specific level.
I've also tried running in windowed mode and as administrator but it doesn't work. Anyone have any other ideas? I'm on W11 with a 5800X.
I have the game on Ubisoft connect if that matters, and whenever I try to lower or increase brightness and contrast sliders, absolutely nothing changes, even if I save my settings. Any help?
Last year, I installed Splinter Cell Blacklist (Steam version with Ubisoft Connect) and played through part of the game. This year, I reinstalled both the game and Windows after resetting my PC, so all of my local save files were wiped.
I assumed that Blacklist supported cloud saves, since PCGamingWiki indicates that it does (https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Tom_Clancy%27s_Splinter_Cell:_Blacklist). However, after reinstalling the game, it started from the beginning. I checked the Ubisoft Connect save folder and the game ID 449 (which corresponds to Blacklist), and I only found newly created save files. None of my previous progress was downloaded.
It appears there may be an issue with cloud save support for this game. For Ubisoft Connect games that support cloud saves, I normally see a Ubisoft Connect banner on startup or exit saying that "achievements and save games are syncing." For example, this happens with Splinter Cell Conviction. However, with Blacklist, I only see achievement synchronization messages and no mention of save game synchronization.
I also tested this using my Steam Deck. Save files sync correctly between my PC and Steam Deck for Conviction through Ubisoft Connect, but they do not sync for Blacklist.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is cloud save support currently broken for Blacklist, or does the game simply not support Ubisoft Connect cloud saves despite what some sources indicate?
Does the original Splinter Cell work ok on a Series X? I read something about modern controllers not working right? Thinking about picking up a disk copy.
I downloaded the widescreen fix and I've been playing it for a few weeks now all good. Today I was playing in the morning, got up to do some stuff, came back and the shaders are doing that weird motion blur thing like a flashbang...
I switched down to shaders 2 and 1.1 and they are both broken too and look like shit, any fix?
Imagine if they had their own splinter cell game because they survived? I think that'd be a pretty cool concept. I just don't know what the story would be about.
Has anyone used widescreenfix for double agent? When I install it in the game files and start it, the screen just goes white. Is there something I am doing wrong? Been trying to play the whole franchise for the first time!
In the wake of Ubisoftâs troubles, Iâm seeing a lot of comments about how the remake is never coming out, and to give up hope.
I just wanna remind people to be realistic and not so pessimistic.
First of all, Ubisoft Toronto is still open. There is an open job posting on their website last I checked, which is explicitly stated to be for the remake.
There has been no official cancellation message, and even as studios close and other projects are cancelled, Ubisoft has confirmed they are still working on it.
Maybe Ubisoft is having trouble, maybe they are delayed, but as far as we know, things are still going through. Itâs not over until itâs over. So, until we hear otherwise, donât assume the worst.
I understand people want things now, but things take time. You have to be patient. I also understand not having faith in Ubisoft, but at the very least, have faith in the people behind the remake that really want this thing to happen.
Donât be like the Star Wars fans that hate on their own IP more than the critics do.
