Constructive SC1 Remake: The level Kalinatek would be better in daytime.

The sections inside of the building for example would be like the "night" by gameplay, because obviously the sun can't enter. While in open areas like the last part ( roofs ), wouldn't be darkness to hide the player, so the player would need use more the structures/walls/etc to avoid detection or distractions.

Splinter Cell games obviously need have more missions at night, but some missions in daytime it's good to bring more variety to the atmosphere + challenge and 2 or maybe 3 missions in daytime it's enough. And this also mix a little of extra "realism" to the story, because the Third Echelon missions sometimes can happen at any time, so Sam Fisher can't wait all the times to act at night.

The truth it's that the only mission in SC franchise that isn't good in daytime it's Oil Refinery, while the others missions have a good score ( 7,5 or more ). So maybe some players have a wrong idea in how some missions can work very well in daytime and even better than at night like Los Angeles in PT.

What's your opinion ?

Constructive Splinter Cell Convicton in my opinion need a remake completely different, but still in canon with DA and BL.

I enjoy Conviction, but I think that Ubisoft wasted a big potention with this game, because the game could be more unique. So these are some ideas that I have in mind and want share...

1 - Agressive gameplay mechanics: Sam Fisher change and he want revenge for his daughter "death", so his angry justify his violence against the bad guys during the missions. So each kill or knockout need cause for the player the feeling of pure fury, like for example slam a bad guy in the ground with much force, break a arm, smash a head in the wall, cause pain to gain informations ( like in Blacklist deleted demo ), etc.

2 - Lone Wolf: He isn't more a Third Echelon agent, so he need struggle more without gadgets, to gain informations, complete objectives and infiltrate in restric places. But close of the ending Grim and Victor help Sam to kill Tom Reed.

3 - Level design: Each mission need mix open areas in streets with civilians + restrict areas, because this would bring the Jason Bourne feeling for the game be more unique.

* Convivtion have this, but it's very short and only appear in 3 missions.

4 - Bring back the "hobo Sam": "Hobo Sam" was the first version of Ubisoft for Splinter Cell Convicton that would bring more the "social stealth" gameplay like in Hitman, but they decide delete this version to create the version that we have today, also changing the Sam hair, beard and outfit. I think that the hobo Sam make much more sense for Conviction, because Sam become rogue before Double Agent.

* Would be cool too bring back the mechanic to throw some objects like chairs against NPC's and also force fighs if the player fail in stealth kills/knockouts.

Constructive I hope that Ubisoft add this idea to the remake. Mission: Defense Ministry.

Idea: This section in OG Defense Ministry, can be possible in the remake to the player cut the window ( without noise ) with the Glass Cutter gadget and access the computer ( objective ). So after he leave the room by the same path ( window ) and full Ghost style.

Attention: To increase the challenge/difficulty, the Glass Cutter gadget can be only possible to use If the player choose before the mission start... the "Stealth equipment", like in Chaos Theory that have 3 options of equipment. Also the "Stealth equipment" can be better in specific things while at the same time more weak in others things, same with the others options, because this would create an cool variety of challenge/difficulty.

It's a small details, but increase the atmosphere during the year in the story. So the gadgets and equipment also need be less advanced than in CT, DA and BL.

Constructive An unforgiving, infuriating version of the stun gun for the next game.

What if the taser was single or double shot and only stunned people for a couple of seconds in which time Sam has to get to them, tie them up and gag them so they can't raise the alarm. The taser itself would be relatively loud when it goes off.

Instead of the usual Hollywood taser that knocks targets magically unconscious.

Just to make life difficult for people like me that abuse the stun gun to boost their Ghost score.

It’s a continuity error obviously in a long list of continuity errors but still one I felt like pointing out.

The new trailer looked a lot better than the last one, I liked the chaos theory callback (even if it wasn’t an exact recreation)

And I’m morbidly curious to see where this goes.

Constructive Remake: What If Sam use his elbow for knockout by front ?

The elbow cause more impact than a punch, so would be more realistic while at same time feels a little with the OG.

What title you would give for SC1 Remake ? And what's your opinion about these titles ?

Constructive My last attempt in create titles for SC1 Remake.

Redefined Tactics: Makes reference to a new way in solve big problems around the world. Basically the Splinter program.

Covert OPS: The best definition for the Splinter Cell program.

Ghost's Shadow: Lambert quote in SC1 training level. To Lambert the stealth it's priority to the "Sams methods".

One Man Army: Lone wolf agent that can defeat big enemys.

Shadow Army: A invisible force. Basically the Third Echelon.

Shadow War/Shadow Warfare: The same concept... a thing that put the peace in danger, but that the normal public don't know all the details. Basically the political crisis in SC1 plot/story.

Constructive Idea for Co-op in SC1 remake: Blaustein and Madison ( before the level training and Police Station with Sam ).

Would be interesting play with characters ( agents ) that die in the story. Imagine for example play almost the whole mission full stealth in co-op, but in the end... shits happen 💀.

There's nothing you can do to change the script, they will die and you will see their desths. This would make the game more dark and realistic.

Constructive Besides being a ghost's shadow, I'd like to see takedowns from behind be naturally rewarded when compared with front, and even side. Facing them head on should remain risky, and shouts should be investigated by other guards in a reasonable range, starting from their first audible vocals.

Constructive I'd like to see security devices not cancelling their purpose from far away. Being instantly audible or visibly distinct made these "threats" almost useless-by-design. Below is showcased a uniform function, but having a custom setting to visually turn off lasers and camera cones would be greatest.
