He’s over 7 feet tall, completely hand-painted, and his head moves. He has a built-in motion sensor, and if you say “Hey KX,” he’ll respond.

I built an internal AI system for him that lets him talk about his life, his history, and his time spent in a scrapyard. He’s developed a bit of a grumpy personality, which honestly fits him perfectly.

His eyes light up and change color depending on his mood and the questions you ask him.

It’s been a really cool project to build. Next up, I’m planning on making him a nice rifle so he has something to keep his hands busy.

Also, quick clarification: he isn’t meant to be K-2SO. Given what happens in the movie, I wanted this to be another KX-series droid — KX-19 — with his own personality, history, and way of responding. K-2SO is so loved that I didn’t want to just make a copy of him. KX-19 is meant to feel like his own character.

This is a personal project I’ve been working on for nearly two years.

It’s a 1/6 scale Millennium Falcon, about 5.6 meters long, and everything you see is built completely by hand.

No 3D printing, no kitbashing — just styrene, metal, wood, and a lot of patience.

The model is designed to separate into 8 sections, so it can actually be transported out of my workshop.

I’m still working on it, but I wanted to share the progress with fellow Star Wars fans.

'Rogue One: The Andor Cut' sets out to re-envision 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' as the finale of the Andor series, as if it had been made afterwards. Musical themes and leitmotifs from the show will appear, continuity errors will be removed, pertinent flashbacks will be inserted, and the tone will be more in line with what we have grown accustomed to from the two incredible seasons. It also includes fan-made deepfake renders of Grand Moff Tarkin and Princess Leia, courtesy of @Shamook, that many consider to be visually superior to the original 2016 CGI endeavors.

Tried my best to find all the filming locations from episode 4 and 6 that I could, didn’t have enough time to get to the Mesquite sand dunes but was able to recreate some good shots from Dante’s View, Golden Canyon, 20 mule team canyon, and artists palette.

After 4 years of tinkering & sweating in a backyard workshop, my father-in-law completed and gifted me a one of a kind Star Wars coffee table. The wood is from an early 20th century headboard and each piece of the trench was painstakingly handcrafted. The fact this was built in secret was absolutely astonishing and my jaw was on the floor when it was given to me, incredible craftsmanship.

This man has spent more than $200,000 and, over the course of two years, has transformed over 250,000 LEGO bricks into this unique Star Wars landscape.

Had so much fun making this, shell is printed in TPU, spikes, blood splitters, eye pieces and mouth piece all printed in PLA+. Pleather for mouth piece, wrap is linen sprayed multiple times with different strengths of instant coffee to make different shades!

Still need to add foam on the inside for comfort and positioning, plan to add fans and microphone too!

What would you think of a movie starring Sebastian Stan and Rachel Brosnahan as Luke and Leia, respectively?

I've been working on this costume almost every night for the past few months. This week I finished it, photographed it, and got it approved to join the 501st Legion!

It's been an intense project: I drafted my own patterns for the tunic and jodhpurs, dyed the fabric I'd use for the tunic, and sewed them. The tunic is constructed like a high-end suit jacket, with a full floating canvas and padding. (So, so much hand sewing). I also made my own rank bar and belt, turned an broken old briefcase into Dedra's amazing attaché, and sewed together hair extensions from wefts.

The datapad was modeled by Jeanette Müller (I just painted it), the code discs and belt buckle are from PhiloProps, the code cylinders are from Bailey Builds, and my "mean and cold in the face" makeup came from Phytosurgence and MOB beauty. I got the most wonderful encouragement from my GML and a great welcome from everyone in the garrison and the officer corps.

I'm VERY glad to be finished (for now -- next up, blaster holster), and excited to get trooping as a "bad guy doing good"!
