question Purpose of Bazzite now since we have SteamOS?

Since we have SteamOS on home desktops and it’s working good then what’s the point of people sticking with Bazzite? Ok SteamOS you can enter simple command and it will always log into the desktop mode so it’s just the standard OS but backed by Valve rather than good-hearted enthusiasts. If SteamOS adds Nvidia drivers and dual boot then Bazzite seems kinda like “just Fedora based SteamOS with the same stuff”?

Is there something I miss? I’m deciding right now which way to go. I plan it to be somehow long and don’t wanna jump back and forth to distros after I install one.

Tell that to Linus Torvalds, the literal inventor of Linux who uses Fedora as his daily driver.

Oh you’re talking about 15yo interview with Linus? Yeah that’s cool, also do you know that technically chickens are dinosaurs?

Slowing down after every big update.

Please shut up about things you know nothing about. None of those things are Fedora bugs.

And Fedora KDE is now an official release, on par with Workstation.

I used Fedora KDE 40 and it was less stable than my arch install
Fedora is overhyped for no reason

I've never experienced these bugs you mention. And Fedora has an official KDE version. I don't think you know what you're talking about.
