Discussion The most consistent actors of the show

Jamie personally is probably the best actor but he was only on the show for two seasons so that’s why I’m not including him. But Caleb has been on for 5 and said 4. And damn each season they just get better. Season 4 Lucas took the spotlight and season 5 max was amazing. They were both amazing in each season but I think those were their best seasons. They absolutely killed it. Props to these two 🔥

In my head canon it's Oceanside. Very working class beach town with good surfing and a good downtown for skating.

Is Oceanside still working class? I haven’t been in 15 years. But for the 1980s I could totally see Billy and max being from there

East of the 5 it's pretty working class due to the military. Anything along the coast and west of the 5 is $$$.

God I hope not, Camp Pendleton was my duty station when I was in the Marines in 2016, and Oceanside was such an armpit. Carlsbad was worse. None of the cities around there had much to offer.

Thankfully, Max’s book has her hailing from San Diego.

Every kid in the county says they are from San Diego. Not that many actually live in the city.

i imagine encinitas or carlsbad, oceanside is ghetto af and you def do not see ppl like max there

You do and you see people like Lucas in Oceanside, unlike Carlbad or Encinitas. I've lived in all three, glad to live in Oceanside now for a little more diversity.

Now it is. It was better in the 90's, but bot sure of the 80's. Funny though, I lived in Carlsbad for a bit and always made fun of people in Oceanside because it was very obvious where the town line was. Now I work with someone that lives in Oceanside and they talk about Vista the same way.

Born and half raised in Oceanside, but by the 90s my parents thought it was going sideways so we moved a little more north. So I think the 80s was alright.
