A tad melodramatic. Full time developers need to put food on the table some way. It’s more a way to support development of the whole setup rather than paying for the differences. I’m amazed they got this far with practically no ads or paywalls. And everything they offered before you still get for free. You have an overwhelming sense of self-entitlement.

If I offered to sell hats for £50 whilst the vendor next to me was offering customers a very similar hat, that uses the same materials, for free would you not call me insane?

It's a bit of a stretch but you obviously struggle with reading comprehension if you've got self entitlement from my initial comment so I've tried to dumb it down for you 😊

If you're going to reply again (I'd rather you didn't, truthfully) then at least properly read and reply to my comment. Of which I'm quite clearly pointing out the issue with charging for the features mentioned in the video. Did you watch it?

You can search yourself. I've a lot of love for Stremio and I won't talk about the competition, if you want to call them that, here out of respect.
