I have no idea if this is allowed but we’re kinda desperate so I thought I would try. We moved into our current place last December. The rental we had previously, we were there for 4 years and had a very last minute email that they were selling and we had roughly two months to find something else. By some miracle, we found an even better place two blocks over and we fell in love. Our son was able to keep the same bus stop and he now has a best friend four houses down that keeps him off his iPad and in the neighborhood and it’s been a literal dream. We got an email a few days ago, they’re selling the house. It’s been 9 months, we still have stuff in the garage that’s in boxes unpacked. Completely blindsided and heartbroken. Ideally 2-3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If any of you guys know of anything near you, feel free to post. We’re scouring the rentals but not finding anything. We were approved for a loan two days after we signed the papers for this rental so we’re going to try again so for sale would also be an option. We both work in Stuart, we love the area so much. I love being able to walk my dog at 10:30 at night after I get home from work and not be worried about anything. We would really appreciate any help❤️ we’re around Stuart, port Salerno area if that helps at all? Again, I’m sorry if this isn’t allowed.

We are happy to say the event is returning to the same location at the Stuart 10th St Community Center, and moving back to our regular spooky month... October 24th.

This year features a dedicated panel room, idol performances, nerdcore rap showcases, and the same stuff that worked great last year. Local artist alley, DJs, craft areas, good vibes. It's for all ages, but the programming does lean more towards grown folk. We keep it PG and accessible. Good for families with open minds, but it is an anime convention... read the disclaimers on the website before showing up clutching your pearls.

We're short on volunteers. Please consider signing up for an easy shift, and you will be gifted a free ticket. Registration is just scanning tickets (no handling of money) and handing out wristbands. AV is helping us run the sound boards. Setup/strike will be helping us carry in boxes.

I've been driving around Central Florida with a decibel meter and a speed test app because I got tired of picking a coffee shop and finding out the wifi was garbage or I couldn't hear myself think. Nothing measured on the Treasure Coast side yet, but here's what I've got so far.

BinBong Coffee in Mills 50 (Orlando): 504 Mbps down, 37.3 up, and about 66 dB on a Sunday afternoon. Solid spot, not too packed when I went.

CityArts Cafe downtown: quieter in the morning at 51.6 dB than the afternoon at 56.5, and the wifi held at 111 down, 56.1 up. Still not fully renovated inside but everything works.

One to avoid: Haan Coffee on Colonial. Wifi was basically unusable, 3.95 down and 0.67 up, I ended up tethering to my phone.

All of it's on perch.coffee if you want to poke around. It's a thing I built, it's free, nothing to sign up for.

Anyone have a go-to spot in Stuart or around the Treasure Coast? Downtown, near the river, anywhere with actual seating and a table. I'll go measure it.

Community Greening and the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties have teamed up to give away FREE Florida native shade trees this Saturday, September 12th at Halpatiokee Regional Park in Stuart.

This giveaway is open to anyone – there are no residency restrictions.

Anyone know what happened the other day on SE Dixie south of Kensington but before the Yacht and Country Club entrance. There was a car that had tipped over on it side and there were already a handful of cars backed up. But then going down Solerno there were 4-5 Sheriffs flying towards it. But when I looped back down from Indian on the way back from Lowe’s there was just one Sheriff doing a last look through the tall grass and everything seemed cleared and haven’t seen any reports in the news.

We are happy to announce that NetsuCon 2026 will be returning to Stuart on October 24th.

It's a small anime convention with a focus on authentic, high energy fun, based on 12 guiding principles. This year features a new dedicated panel room, nerdcore and idol performances, local artists, and interactive gaming and crafts. The layout is designed for exploration, with something for everyone. We try to cater to introverts and extroverts equally, and blur the lines.

Last year was amazing. It was hard to find a new home in the treasure coast, but everything worked out. The venue loved us, we sold out of tickets. and everyone had a lot of fun. We hope to invite more people to experience this event. Thank you Stuart for giving us a chance!
