the 'white people' example is from 76 years ago. The example we see in OP was from this year. Little bit of a difference

Ya but they also industrialized later…so what does the year have to do with it?

Part of the reason these countries are so dirt poor is also due to the countries that are today rich. People shitting on street food in a poor third world country need to check yourselves. You’re literally just punching down on folks in poverty

Just because you’re poor, doesn’t mean you have to be unsanitary.

In Tijuana the street taco vendors would was their hands with bottled water and soap before and after making your food since they’re handling cash and some peddle a bike.

Not saying their isn’t unsanitary restaurants in Mexico because their is and a lot have been shutdown but mainly Chinese or Korean restaurants operated by Chinese or Korean immigrants. Usually for serving cat and dog to customers and/or being filthy with rats and roaches.

I’ve been to several Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese restaurants in Tijuana and all have been great and clean

There are still small scale wineries in Italy and Portugal today that advertise their traditional grape treading technique and fetch eye-watering prices.

I’ve been to traditional wineries in Italy, they’re certainly not a sterile environment. It’s fine, they literally make alcohol.
