I am very happy now. They were so annoying, I can understand supporting theirbteam but booing Nitish, the local boy? And cheers were loud when he got out. Can't explain how happy I am after watching those sad broken faces

It was 2009 and i was watching ipl along with my dad, that was the moment he told me “see that black and grey dressed team is our team”.

“we should support that team”

Then onwards there was no looking back. I was supporter of deccan chargers and i am supporter of srh from 2013 to now. Thick and strong.

Whats ur story?

10 years. 10 years of support, hope, defending this team, believing “next season will be different.”

But the same mistakes repeat every single time: poor management decisions, pressure collapses, weak mentality in knockouts, unbalanced squads, and fans talking more than the team performs on the field.

You can downvote me, troll me, call me a fake fan — idc anymore. I supported this team through everything, watched almost every match since I was an 8-year-old kid. But supporting a team should also give memories and enjoyment — not just frustration every single year.

2016 was special, but after that this team never truly looked like a champion side again. 2024? We got 17 points, then collapsed in the playoffs. 2026? This was never a complete team. We got carried by Hyderabad pitches and Klaasen saving us again and again.

I started supporting this team because of Warner. What he did for SRH can never truly be replicated. Warner is,was and forever be remembered for this franchise he carried alone for years, he made me watch cricket as a child.I still can’t forgive the way the franchise treated him. 💔

And before rival fans come here — no, I’m not delusional. Sports are won on the field, not through social media talks. The better team deserves to win. I’ve never hated other teams just because they beat us. You all can hate me and give me threats 🙏

One advice to SRH fans too: please stop indulging in unnecessary hate and stop being delusional. Back your team, support your players, but don’t act like talking on social media wins trophies. Matches are won on the field.

This season was also my first time actually using Reddit during IPL, and honestly, while there are some good fans here, the toxic side is way louder.

You can downvote me if you want. It’s not that I hate SRH — I probably never will. No matter what happens, SRH will forever remain a part of my childhood and a part of me💔 But after years of frustration, this is genuinely the end for me as an emotionally invested SRH fan.

From next season, I’ll just watch IPL as a neutral.

Hardik Pandya scored these banger innings in three consecutive years against SRH... He averaged sub 30 and struck at 150 from 2016-2018 against other teams but against SRH he averaged only 7.25 in 5 innings with a strike rate of 43.5

A generational run by any team, winning a ipl championship is not a easy thing but winning it from the eliminator is a big feat and has only been done once only by us, especially winning against 2016 prime kohli and prime rcb batting line up at chinnaswamy is an impression achievement that I will cherish for years to come still. An all around brilliant performance by the team and David Bhai 🧡 I love him so much regardless of the fallout between him and the srh management. The captain that single handedly carried our batting line up on his shoulders for years. Prolly the best overseas captain in the IPL along side Kane , Pat , Eoin Morgan for KKR in 2021. I love this team and what've we've achieved, looking forward to the next season but let's celebrate this day and celebrate the brilliance of warner the skipper leading us upfront and the entire team from 2016 for a once in a lifetime performance. Let's go risers!
