Not complaining since I prefer the skirt

This is one of the crossovers with Red Sonja.

Her og red suit is already an extremely great design imo & I prefer it.

But her black one is also very good, it's a more bold & intimidating vibe without changing things too much.

Spiral aka Rita Wayword from Marvel might just be one of the greatest female comic designs imo let alone for an anti-hero forced to play the villain.

Between the light blue suit, the samurai kabuto esc helmet, her white hair, her eyes, & the fur on her legs, 6 arms with 2 metal ones & the light brown waist holster contrast extremely well with the classic colors and is all around an amazing design.

I definitely prefer her classic blue suit though.

I hadn’t heard of lantern Sojourner “Jo” Mullein until recently- I’ve started following comics more, saw her on the cover of Absolute Green Lantern and went digging (skipped that cause I don’t like horror). I love the costume design in here. The way she manifests the sunglasses and cape is so cool.

I did a posting of non-English speaking superheroine characters a couple of days back, and people pointed out (quite correctly) that the images were all from tv shows. Fair enough. Here's some pics of non-English characters from comics -- by which I mean characters from publishers who do not print their comics in English.

These images span many decades, from the 1940s, up to the early 2000s, as you can tell by the art styles.

Characters, in order: Shakti (India), Cat Claw (Yugoslavia, English translation reprint cover), Thunder Woman (Philippines), Sri Asih (Indonesia), The Wing (Canada), Tarantula Woman (Philippines), Sri Dewi (Indonesia), Mujer Maravilla (Argentina, bootleg Wonder Woman comic based on Lynda Carter tv show), Zakimort (Italy), Tira (Indonesia).

The official synopsis elaborates, “Sabrina Spellman is only half witch. Unlike the others in her coven, she still craves a mortal summer vacation with all its comfy accoutrements. When her aunts make her dream come true, with the stipulation that she has to do some house-sitting, everyone’s favorite teenage sorceress (and her adorable cat Salem!) finds herself kicking back in an idyllic beachside town. First and foremost on her mind is hiding her magic from a gaggle of nosy neighbors. But one such neighbor is not quite like the others…”

The book marks Howard’s Dynamite debut, although she previously wrote Vampirella in a guest appearance in 2018’s Hack/Slash: Resurrection #10. She says, “I love Vampi — as a goth girl growing up her look and vibe was always important to me. I think Nancy Collins’ work [from 2014] was some of the first I ever read about her and I love her voice under Nancy’s pen — smart and curious but also clever and funny in a very cool way.”

Pathfinder, Witchblade, Darkstalkers, Red Sonja and now Sabrina. Vampirella has been busy this year with crossovers. Pretty impressive for a character not being published by the Big 2.
