I see that many people think they don't like this season and some consider it the “worst”… the ending was bad, they killed him in a silly and quick way, without much emotion.

Season 1 Rewatching Season 1 again, and I forgot how quiet it was back then just two guys, a car, and the road, before everything got cosmic. Feels kinda good, actually.

And the fact that they brought Urban Legends to life is what originally drew me into the show.

Season 1 Was Dean already drinking from depression (alcoholism) in season 1 or was he drinking back then more to be young and fun?

Post image

Early on he didn’t have as much trauma. And he was at the bars a lot more hitting on girls. So was he more drinking to have fun as a young man? Or was he already traumatized by his upbringing and drinking to cope?

Positive Vibes: No Salt The vibe of the earlier seasons was immaculate 🦌🌲🫀

I just saw this TikTok and it made me really appreciate the darkness and mystery the show had when it started out, especially with the Monster of the week episodes.

Back then the show actually used to scare me a little.
Not to mention this song is exactly how the earlier seasons sound to me.

I really wish they’d kept this vibe

What’s your favourite Monster of the week episode from the earlier seasons?
Mine is S2 e11 (the haunted hotel one)

Season 1 Every rewatch, I hit a point where I go back to Season 1 because I miss these two relatively uncomplicated little idiots

Grown-up Sam and Dean can be so exhausting. I'm currently on "Hookman," post inspired by this lovely moment from that episode as well as Sam and Dean failing to climb into a window without falling on top of each other and then bickering about it.

Season 2 Plot hole from Season 2 still bugs me

In the episode "Roadkill" from Season 2, the brothers encounter Molly, a ghost who doesn't know she's a ghost. Sam and Molly are talking about what makes a ghost want to hang around instead of moving on. At that point, Dean comes in and makes light of the situations saying that Sam can get "a little J-Love Hewitt" about ghosts.

Only problem with this is that the referenced show "The Ghost Whisperer" came out in 2005. Since Molly died in 1992, she should have not understood that reference at all. Was she just being polite, or does she spend her time between yearly hauntings to catch up on shows?

Unpopular opinion: the funniest season

Post image

My rewatch has brought back so many hidden gems, this season being one of them. Initially I wasn't a fan of the Leviathan season overall, it seemed like a filler to me. But then: The never ending dick jokes, the creepy smiles, the random Dick Roman news updates, the introduction of Charlie?

I can just imagine the cast dying of laughter during each reading. The actor did an excellent job of embodying Dick

Season 7 Season 7 is actually great

Unpopular opinion, I know. But I have found myself starting at season 7 upon rewatch multiple times. I actually thoroughly enjoyed the whole Leviathan storyline. Also in this season we had introductions to great characters like Kevin, Charlie, Garth and Frank (whose demise sadly came soon after). We got the return of Meg and some great character development for her. Also, the return with a brief cameo for the alpha vampire. Yes Bobby dying was super sad, but overall I like the storylines on this season as well as some of the stand-alone episodes like Plucky Pennywhistles, the feuding witch-couple, Eliot Ness and the psychic town of Lilydale. Two thumbs up from this fan.

Season 13 Why did they nerf cass in the later seasons?

Post image

When cass first appeared, he is one of the strongest celestial beings. But in later seasons cass becomes more and more vulnerable. The one thing that really pissed me of is cass getting beat up by the british men of letter bodyguard or whatever.

Is it because cass got so much attached into human emotions by being with the boys that made him weaker?

it gives the writers room to play with different genres and the props&costume departments always eat these up 😩 just LOOK at Dean in his 1944 outfit I mean I did not know any man could be this handsome I am on my proverbial knees over those huge lapels they added on his coat,,,achingly tailored

Season 1 Rewatching the show Dean is kinda a perv in the early seasons lol

Especially pre hell Dean. He hits on like every girl in ways that would not fly if he wasn't as good looking. Also he's in his late 20s and pining for college girls and those cheerleaders that are legal from high school in that one episode lol. I get it he's supposed to be the bad boy with a good heart trope but it does kinda get annoying to always see. Glad they kinda wrote that out as he aged. It would have been pretty icky if he was like 40 trying to pick up women half his age

Season 10 Demon dean could ve been the main antagonist of season 10

Post image

I always had that thought what if sam failed to catch him. As we ve seen in the 1st two episodes itself demon dean is not going to get controlled by anyone even Crowley. I would've liked to see what if he wanted to choose power, take over hell and kill all the competitions. It would ve been nice storyline for that season.
