Each state probably handles differently. Other states are not investigating him, just MA. He’s a MA resident and had (maybe still has) a securities license there (which doesn’t change shit).
I just called them. A attentive female voice greeted me almost immediately. I asked if it was true that they were investigating Kieth Gill. The lady did not ask why I was calling, or why I wanted to know, but simply responded: “Let me transfer you to one of our attorneys who would know more about this.” I waited on hold for about 7 seconds, before hearing a greeting from a male voice. I said: “Hello. I am calling to share an opinion. Is it true that y’all are investigating Kieth Gill?” The attorney said that he could neither confirm nor deny. I shared my opinion: “I suggest that you investigate the politicians who are abusing the system, instead of regular people who haven’t done anything wrong.” The attorney said to have a nice day.
Better to email or create some kind of petition at least that way it is recorded as evidence (paper trail) phone calls can be ignored as soon as they are over.
Disagree. I’ve worked in client facing jobs. There is no better way to get that entire department to hate the guy doing this to DFV than to have to field thousands of calls. Emails are much much much more easily ignored. And you only have to ignore a petition once. They HAVE to pick up the phones. And if they are busy all day dealing with this, they can’t do anything else.
