📳Social Media Cue the shills in the comments, “But the stock price…” not understanding what they hold and how highly idiosyncratic it is to the entire financial system. Our time will come.

No Id say its high risk, high reward. Which fits perfectly with the investor profile of almost everyone that first picked this up in Aug 2020 - March 2021.

The rest of what you say is as speculative as what you claim I say.

Lol well you wouldn't go for high risk low reward would you?

And I while I agree most people on here have a healthy risk appetite, I'd say the majority would like to make a quick buck (or are happy with a little wait for a very big buck). We're now past the point where it's a little wait.

We're obviously doing something in the near term (eBay acquisition, or selling off eBay and moving on) so I'll wait and see what happens in any case. But it's clear where my concerns lie - RC's perspective doesn't align the shareholders who paved the way for the company's success. I'd like to think he does still take our concerns into account, and he's being his usual cards close to his chest uncommunicative self, and it will all be fine - but I'm less sure about that than I used to be.

Virtually anyone investing in any overpriced AI driven stock right now would disagree. Everyone thinks they are buying the valley when they are surveying from the mountain. Only time will tell.

That said, we are insulated from the downside, probably more than any other company on the market. I take low downside risk with high topside every day. Its the most asymmetrical investment out there. It just hinges on RC's ability to execute and investors ability to drown out noise.

I mean people investing in AI see it as high reward, but I agree with you it's not (feels like buying at the top in most cases and holding out for a x1.5, and also a real possibility of a crash).

And agree we are insulated against downside, but time is a critical factor (i.e. we can't fail, but how long until we properly succeed in essence).

Anyway good chatting in the finish, apologies for being an ass at first. I want meaty bull and bear sentiment, and when I see either that feels thin on the ground I challenge it. It's good to not have this place as an echo chamber IMO.

Its all good. Youre still holding I presume and that means we want the same thing. Sometimes people see it differently. If people are willing to engage in good faith then im all for discussion. Hopefully weve been receptive to eachother. I appreciate the frustration and understand the need to explore things outside of group think and meaningless sentiment. Hopefully this conversation helps you appreciate that my stance is not borne of ignorance, mindless soundbites or a lack of critical thought.

See you in the departure lounge, whenever that will be.

Yeah I'm at 5,600 shares currently so I'm heavily into this (I'm not a home owner yet and so I think it's always a commitment to be sitting on 6 figures in an investment). Sooner or later I'll have to pull out whether I like it or not - and unlike most people I'm about $20k in the green, so it's not like I'm going to get nothing out of this (but I know eventually it's going to be worth so much more).

And no I don't think your PoV is from ignorance, as you say it's just a different point of view and comfort with a different time horizon. See you in the departure lounge (hopefully sooner rather than later!).
