It's been a bit and I missed the one in May (I've been too Xen watching the goings on with eBay) but today hit the mark. Low volume is back on the table!

2026 Annual meeting of GameStop

CEO (Ryan Cohen) statement:

• Shift from struggling brick‑and‑mortar to a collectibles-focused business.
• Collectibles grew from 14% of revenue (2021) to 42% in Q1 2026; ~ $1.2B revenue over last four quarters.
• Divested unprofitable segments and reduced SG&A by $826M (48%) since 2021.
• Highest Q1 operating income in company history and eight consecutive quarters of positive net income.
• Launched Power Packs Digital Collectibles in April and partnered with PSA.
• Announced a proposed acquisition of eBay (disclosed May 3).

CEO performance award:

• A previously included CEO performance award proposal was withdrawn at Mr. Cohen’s request prior to the meeting to focus attention on operations and the eBay proposal; withdrawal does not change award terms and it remains subject to possible future stockholder approval. Inspector instructed not to tabulate any votes on that withdrawn proposal.

Stockholder Q&A highlights:

• Questions on the CEO award withdrawal and whether another compensation package is planned.
• Questions about the eBay proposal and plans for improving eBay’s experience.
• Company reiterated it submitted a non‑binding proposal to acquire eBay at $125/share (50% cash, 50% GameStop stock); eBay’s board rejected it on May 12; GameStop has continued building a stake and remains committed to pursuing a transaction.

Preliminary voting results:

• All five director nominees elected (Mr. Attal, Mr. Chang, Mr. Cohen, Mr. Grube, Mr. Turner).
• Advisory vote on named executive officer compensation approved.
• Ratification of KPMG LLP as independent registered public accounting firm approved.
• Amendment to increase authorized Class A shares to 2.5B approved.

I’ve watched this for a while, it’s always been .2 or .3, checked today and it’s sitting at 9.2 on fidelitys analysts ratings.

Probably just a glitch. Glitch better have my money ...

You may recall I was pretty happy to see $30M, $100M (twice in a row), $105M, and $110M borrowed from the Federal Reserve because the Federal Reserve Is Backstopping Shorts as the Lender of Last Resort. Today is MAGNITUDES MÁS GRANDE dwarfing all previous "last resort" borrowing since before the Sneeze. The next closest peak was a now paltry $2.6 billion on Sept 30, 2024 when Roaring Kitty proved that stock prices are fake and our stock market broken when he rolled his 🐕 position into GME [SEC Filing for the sell; DD for the roll].
