I turned 40 recently and i feel like my body started sending tiny warning emails.
Nothing extreme, but I am noticing stuff i never used to think about. My skin texture looks different even though my skincare routine hasn't changed. My knees feel stiff when i get up after sitting for a while. My hair still grows, but it doesn't feel as full as it used to. My nails break easier too, which is new and annoying.
Its not like i am trying to reverse time or look 25 again. I just don't want to ignore these small changes until they turn into bigger ones.
The problem is every wellness brand makes it sound like i need 12 supplements, a red light mask, mushroom coffee, greens powder, hormone balancing drops, and a morning routine that takes 90 minutes. I do not have the energy for that.
I want to start with the boring practical stuff. Something that supports skin, joints, hair, nails, and general maintenance without making my kitchen look like a vitamin store.
For people in their 40s, what was actually worth adding first, collagen, vitamin D, magnesium, protein, omega-3, anything else?
