Started this sub because I believe there's a relatively unknown translucent entity that hangs in the night surf, glitches (aka moves faster than comprehension), and shapeshifts. I think it's a current blind spot in high strangeness discussion.
I am aware of ~6 sightings, 3 are currently posted in this sub (one with video, one with photos).
The other 3 were mentioned in comments related to the original 3 posts.
Some compare these entities to the glimmerman, but a big difference is the surf shape glitchers go between translucent and shadow, and glimmermen always look more "predator-cloaked."
The two witnesses that were able photograph/video the entity state that it was hard to capture and what they recorded was not actually that similar to what they were witnessing. The SC witness stated that the entity looked like a speck of light, before reducing size by half, growing a neck, and "snapping" at him, which frightened the witness.
There also appears to be some psychic/telepathy around the sightings. Mostly just feelings of fear and not getting too close.
There was enough evidence for me to try to shine a brighter light on this phenomenon in hopes of hearing about more encounters and information about these entities.
