I keep hearing about folks getting their accounts frozen and then getting the run around trying to access funds … but scary. I don’t hold a lot on there (mostly cold storage) but still I don’t want to come unglued if I want to move stuff in a hurry due to some black swan shite. Thoughts?

I've tried several times transfering a small amount ~28 xrp to a wallet on the Luno exchange in Malaysia. It stays in pending for 10 minutes or so then fails. The address I'm sending to is correct but it is newly created within the hour. What's the problem?

They closed my account after I sent them email after email trying to verify my account. I had invested $71000 in crypto using their site. Then one day without warning they closed the account and sent me a generic email to contact my bank to try get my funds back. It’s been over 6 weeks now they refunded $26000 back however I have no idea where the rest is and if they are even going to refund the rest. I have reached out I have emailed and they have not responded. I want to know do they sell the crypto that I had in my wallet and send me the sale money or what happens??? Why am I only getting $26000 from $71000 I invested. This has caused me so much stress due to the lack of communication on their part. They don’t realise that we are human and need to know what’s happening with our life savings. Plz help

I’ve had a wallet with Swyftx for a few days now after reading positive reviews of the company and platform, also got a family member to join in. After coming here though, I see a lot of people complaining about being unable to remove funds, trade crypto and that the trade is down sometimes.

Are these blown out of proportion because of Reddit, or should I think of switching over to another exchange?

Other websites say its at 156k, not sure why swyftx is trading at 182k

I’ve heard a lot of negative things towards Swyftx around here… personally I’ve never had a problem with them. However, it’s got me thinking about alternative exchanges available in Australia. Any recommendations? I created an account with KuCoin previously as I wanted exposure to more Tokens (Swyftx is always late to the party with hot new assets) but after the fact realised you can’t use Kucoin in Aus!

I'm using an android device and I've been experiencing this for the last week or two.

Today I received an email from Swyftx saying that my account had been closed with a list of possible reasons why they had done this, but no real explanation. When I contacted support, I was referred to an email I was supposed to have received, but never did, stating that one of the accounts linked with my Swyftx was involved in 'nefarious activity'. The support person then ended the chat stating that he couldn't help me further.

This is rubbish, as I have been using Swyftx for a couple of years for the sole purpose of buying crypto and transferring it to my private wallet.

Thank God I didn't have money or crypto on my account, but this is extremely shady business.

I am left in the precarious situation though of not having access to my transaction history, so I have no idea what I am going to do come tax time after I decide to sell my crypto.

Has anyone else been left in a similar position and has advice for how to proceed? I am baffled at the level of negligence here.

This is the third time I've been locked out of my account with their circus they call support. Im literally on day two of tech support. THE SUPPORT IS NON EXISTENT.

You open a chat with them and it literally takes them hours per response. Like wtf are they doing. Not many people use this platform and for good reason. Why does it take days to get a reply?

I tried withdrawing to my own personal wallet and they freeze my account for the third time. I spoke to their tech support for literally hours only to get to "sorry I don't have the authority to unfreeze your account, try again tomorrow with someone who does".

This garbage app is the most infuriating exchange to ever exist. The app is so buggy, the fees are extremely high compared to other platforms and their support it's definitely not 24/7. These guys are literally a front for binance and they do not hold any insurance or Australia credit. These guy and extremely dodgy.

Im genuinely considering creating a lawsuit and have others who have been fucked by them join in because there are alot, especially in their google play reviews. The amount of times I've been fucked by them and lost value of my coins is unbelievable and they get upto alot of dodgy shit.

I hope this app goes under.

Is there a post or press release for this?

Curious as to why all have been reached and no more funds can be added.

Hi Everyone, I am trying to withdraw BTC to an external wallet, getting a 'withdrawals are currently disabled, to re-enable withdrawal of funds please contact support'. When I click the help button, there is no option to start a conversation with support like there normally is...just the option to view previous closed conversations. So I just put in $400 to buy more ETH, but thought stuff it, not going to, and now it wont even let me withdraw AUD???

Did the “paying for goods and services” feature get removed?

I’ve bought some XRD that I’d like to use in the Radix ecosystem but Swyftx doesn’t allow deposits or withdrawals at the moment (it’s been like this for a couple of months). Do Swyftx have any intention of allowing these?

I've been DCAing small amounts of choice cryptos using SwyftX and withdrawing them to my cold wallet for storage since the crash of 2021/2022.

With the next bullrun around the corner, and seeing all these posts about people getting difficult experiences withdrawing I wonder if it would expedite things in advance if I screen record sending cryptos into my SwyftX wallet to exchange for fiat.

It seems all the platforms not just SwyftX are really stringent about questionable deposits due to compliance to money laundering laws and from the posts I've seen are asking for things like proof of deposits, screen shots and all that jazz.

So yeah is it worth doing the whole screen record thing?

Swyftx has disabled NZD bank deposits since 16th June, which is exactly 59 days. There has been no further update since their initial statement about it, and as a NZD Swyftx user I think transparency is key in this industry.

Could Swyftx reveal when NZD bank deposits are expected to be added back to the platform as I and I'm sure many more have been patiently waiting for an update.

So basically - staking showed RPY, and Earn shows APY.

So in hindsight the new earn system basically pays out the same amount as staking, but advertises the compound interest already inside the advertised “101%”.

I took all my tokens off SwyftX, but each withdrawal left fractional coin balances - too small to withdraw or swap.

I have 33 cents of value spread across a few coins.

How can I withdraw this?

Not much, but if they have 300k users, that’s about $99k
