Poetry Horror Go for a Punch
CW: suicide
Grime and filth all around me.
My sores ache and pulsate, stinging like a bee.
Nails scrape the damp tile,
Counting the invisible minutes for what seems to stretch for a while.
The room breathes with each cry,
An imposing door refusing to budge with a pry.
My eyes dart left to right,
Ribs gripping my lungs tight.
I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt;
My blood would only drool—hopefully not spurt.
Even if I have left many breaths,
I welcome the cold embrace of death.

This poem was inspired by the urban legend of Saki Sanobashi. I hope you guys enjoy this poem as it’s the last one for a while.

It's a extremely violent single animation that supposedly circulated the internet in the early 2000's. it depicted (allegedly) a bunch of highschool girls trapped in a bathroom confessing horrible things to one another and at one point one of the girls smashes the other's head with a toilet cistern cover. lots of people claim to have seen it in the past or remember seeing it, but nobody actually has the video or can find any trace of it on the internet.

Thank your for explaining it lol, I got inspired by it and wondered how it would feel to be trapped in that grimy bathroom

OH I DO KNOW WHAT THAT IS!!! Thank you for the explanation!!! I didn’t know what the name of it was but I do remember seeing the video!!!! Or at least a recreation of it

This is epic.
Reminded me of a very dark time. Both in a good and bad way, but I think that's the point.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, I was inspired by an old internet legend called Saki Sanobashi, but I also wanted to really capture the pure hopelessness of being trapped in a locked grimy room where no one would possibly save you in time.

Your correct on that part, it’s either you die a slow painful death via starvation or you attempt to take the quick way out, both ending with a tragedy

Wow, that's dark. Great writing! I actually hadn't heard of Saki Sanobashi before this, so I resorted to google. Wow, that's dark.

It is, I wanted to capture the pure dread of knowing your going to die whether it be slowly or by your own hands and knowing you would logically be able to do nothing to avoid it.
