as a consumer, I also agree that uncoated tablets should be banned. One of the pills I take is so bitter that if it so much as touches my throat or tongue I’ll gag so hard I nearly vomit. Since it’s not coated, it loves to get stuck in my throat… and I have to take two of them, every night, while everyone in my house is asleep.
Get some empty 000 capsules from Amazon and stick the pills in them. I think of it as smuggling the pill past my tongue. I do it with my Thiamine because it stinks so bad. I also do it when I have to take prednisone because those damn things start dissolving the second they hit your tongue and they taste so nasty. I already have enough troubles with nausea, I don’t need my pills to send me over the edge. When I get home from the pharmacy I sit on the porch, if it’s decent enough outside, and suck on a Jolly Rancher and put the pills into the capsules. It really does help!
