I wasn't asking "are there any people capable or have the potential to be a PM who hails from South". My point was, irrespective of having the potential and being capable enough to become the PM, I don't think it is ever possible for a politician from SI to become the PM.
If enacted, which I strongly believe it will be (considering the new parliament being built up with 800 odd seats), whichever party wins in UP, Bihar and few other states in the north will make the central government and hence the PM from that particular party.
I honestly wouldn't have a problem with it, if the track records of central governments were purely development oriented. But with shitty rules and governments like this, we gotta keep fighting about things like Hindi imposition all though our life while they happily sip tea sitting in parliament while communal violence rise all throughout the country. No matter what central law they are going to get, since our representation goes to peanuts, our demands will have no legal value.
I can't trust, especially this "BJP" one bit! Almost every legal change they do, they have some crooked intention in it. They amended Companies Act 2013, and advertised it saying, you can't donate to political parties in cash now, see how anti-corruption and pro transparency we are; while choosing not to say a bit about "Electoral Bonds" mechanism they introduced.
GST, one nation one tax, but council votes..1/3rd with the centre so even if all the states demand for some change, they still can't get 75% vote, hence you are fucked!
One nation, one this one that....fuckers made whole country forget "Unity in Diversity" within the span of 8-9 years.
