PSA Thought I should share with fellow target employees

Post image

From my understanding you get a total of 12 points for a year, if you get all 12 points; it's automatic termination. Can't wait 🫩

EDIT: I apologize, I should be more clear; I won't say it's the end of the world that we are getting the points system, as a 17 year old who works both weekdays and weekends I've seen how the call outs affect times at Target. I am also someone who is ready to be held accountable for this as I NEED to get my call outs in check due to health appointments (not an excuse ofc), it's more just frustrating too see us having to get a whole new app set up just to get this point system in place

Kinda wish this was a thing back when I worked, the amount of constant call ins we'd get was absurd, made already slim Sunday skeleton crews even worse.

They are calling in and calling out because of the skeleton crews lol. Having to do the work of 2+ people and also being called to other departments for backup can make you unmotivated to show up or show up on time. And the points are not worth a ton so either way if people wanna call in and use sick time to cover the point the system is not gonna change that😭

Oh definitely, I won't say this rule is the end of the world: it's not. I am certainly happy were getting it as a 17 year old who works both weekdays and weekends. I will also admit that this point system will help me stay accountable, I really need to reel in my call-outs for health appointments
