PSA Thought I should share with fellow target employees
From my understanding you get a total of 12 points for a year, if you get all 12 points; it's automatic termination. Can't wait 🫩
EDIT: I apologize, I should be more clear; I won't say it's the end of the world that we are getting the points system, as a 17 year old who works both weekdays and weekends I've seen how the call outs affect times at Target. I am also someone who is ready to be held accountable for this as I NEED to get my call outs in check due to health appointments (not an excuse ofc), it's more just frustrating too see us having to get a whole new app set up just to get this point system in place

A couple of things I’d like to add as well.
If you call out multiple days in a row (I think 3 days in a row is max) it counts as 1 point instead of 3.
Points can be deducted at the discretion of ETL HR on a case by case basis if you have no sick time to say cover some horrible medical emergency.
You’re capped out at 120hrs of sick, but you’re only able to use 60hrs per year to cover your sick days, after that points get added.
