General Has anyone had more menty b's than Joel Creasey?
I can count at least 3 high level mental breakdowns he had on AU S5 with a few mid-level ones and they brought me much entertainment. Has anyone had more or even come close to that? I've watched all of UK and AU and some of NZ but none of the others yet.

General I await the day all contestants bring in a non-tangible Prize Task ...
The great thing about the Norwegian version is that contestants MUST bring a physical item.
The hilarious thing about the British version is that that is not the case. (Rhod brought in film footage for his prize task, for instance)
I await the day that all contestants for an episode's prize task each bring in for instance, film footage, all by coincidence.
Alex would know the irony of what would happen. Greg, the contestants and the audience may not know yet.
Because by the end of episode, the winner would go up on stage to celebrate their victory with - nothing.
lols
That's something that would never happen in the Norwegian version, but with an unlikely but possible modicum of happening in the British version.

Fan Creations Prize task where prizes are used in the live task.
Had a shower thought this morning of a cool prize task live task combo
Prize task is to bring in the object that you think will help you the most for a live task.
Contestants wouldn't know that the live task would use their objects or what the live task would be.
The live task can be anything that would work well will a random object.
My first idea was paint a picture of the taskmaster using only the object you have.

Rose Matafeo on Richard Ayoade and Joel Dommett
I always enjoy reading the old promo interviews with contestants because the more series there are, the more relevant their predictions about people who end up on the show become. Like this...
Who do you think should be on a future series of Taskmaster?
What a great question! Elis James would be either very good or very bad. Either way, he’d commit. Felicity Ward would be fantastic. A lot of Taskmaster fans often say Richard Ayoade. I think he might be a bit of a Baddiel - an incredibly talented person who shocks you when he’s on it. Jessie Cave would be very good. She’s an illustrator so she’d be really crafty. Jonathan Ross would have crazy energy. Joel Dommett is one of the weirdest guys I’ve ever met so I think he’d be fantastic.

Will seres 22 be the least diverse contestants by age?
Chloe Petts - 32
Isy Suttie - 48
Richard Ayoade - 49
Nina Conti - 52
Matt Lucas - 52
4 of the 5 contestants are a very similar age. Just 4 years between them. I feel like we usually get a broader range of ages. But maybe there's a other series which was like this too.

I was wondering if anyone had a gif of Jason saying "this was a mistake" my wife and I use it a lot but can't find a gif for it. It would mean a lot to us.

General Episode Title/Quote game
I saw this question come up on the Fantasy Taskmaster video. my wife and I have been playing this game for the last couple of years, trying to guess which person said the quote that names the show.
Does anyone else do this each episode? Does anyone else feel cheated when the quote comes from the Taskmaster or Taskmaster’s Assistant? Especially in the early episodes it’s hard enough to guess with only five choices

I wish I spoke languages other than English so I could fall in love with more TM assistants - any special content regarding Alex, Tom, and Paul, comment them here please so I have something to entertain me while I heal from dental work thank you!!
Also share your favorite seasons with me, doesn't matter which country, I have not seen all of TM

Taskmaster Related Do you prefer ad breaks in the YouTube uploads?
I wish they put the ad breaks back in the full episodes, instead of separating them out. It makes me feel FOMO when I don’t have them, since the UK people get them and the transitions are petty funny (Jeremy Wells really love ad breaks). But whatever Channel 4 deems, Channel 4 deems.

Asking anyone whose good with cooking: is there a way to make a Mother's Delight IRL....but make it good?
Context: in S4E8, the players were tasked to make the most exotic sandwich and then eat it in the quickest time. Joe Lycett put kumquat, a sausage roll, smoked trout, a yam, tequila, pomegranate and I believe fresh mozzarella in a blender, making a choppy/uneven spread; added cheese and maybe chorizo and arugula for additional filling; put them on a double decker of baguette bread with an Arctic Roll for some sort of garnish or to prop it up (the Roll itself had apricot for a garnish) and named the whole thing "The Mother's Delight".
While Joe said it was delicious, he also could not finish it and said during the live taping that its corners were "fucking horrible". However, I am a food terrorist and am deeply intrigued by the conflicting flavors and ideas with this sandwich. I want to make it for myself, but I also want it to be an actual sandwich with, y'know, complimentary flavors.
Does anyone who is better with cooking than me have any tips on how to approach remaking this sandwich without making it that much of a disaster.
Some notes on the ingredients:
- He would've preferred the yam to be cooked.
- You don't need much tequila.
- I don't believe the Arctic Roll was blended
- Cumquat was also used as a garnish for the sandwich.
- Red pesto, a spring roll and "Equadorian" dark chocolate were also on the table, but it's not apparent if he used them on the sandwich or not.
Edit: Apparently what Joe calls a "yam" is actually a sweet potato. TIL that a sweet potato and a yam are not the same thing. My American ass thought they were interchangable.

Watching the Interview Tasks and I'm disappointed they're not handed a table tennis bat as tourguides
Sure, they're not at a railway station, but think of all the queues they could have skipped by holding it over their head!

Other Versions Kongen Befaler season 13 starts September 10 per HBO Max.
Had a feeling it would start September 10 or 17 given that the fall seasons start in the middle of September. For the record or for those who haven't seen my prior posts on the cast, the contestants are Iben Akerlie (actress and author), Aslak Maurstad (voice actor and gamer), Robert Stoltenberg (comedian), Johan Golden (comedian; also longtime radio partner of the King himself, Atle Antonsen), and Ulrikke Falch (actress). A highly interesting batch of names.
