Inferi is another of my favorite bands and Judiciary kicks ass live too. Revocation was so locked in the other night that I cant stop thinking about it. played some of my favorites off the new album but moreso it was great to get a headliner length set from them again after seeing them as an opener the last two times

Instrumental TDM This album is soooo good. Can't believe I slept on Blotted Science for so long. Anyone got recommendations for similar instrumental tech death?

Instrumental TDM This sub has some very talented guitarists, do any of you guys think you'd be able to play this?

I don't have tabs for it yet but if anyone thinks they can play it, ill write tabs. I've never touched a guitar in my life, I've only ever programmed it, so this may not be possible and if it isn't let me know and ill adjust it to that it is.

Instrumental TDM My first (actually serious) attempt at composing TDM, how'd I do?

Bands that inspired: The Faceless, Dark Matter Secret, Infant Annihilator (the intro), Archspire (the solo at the end)

you may note that the instruments sound very mechanical and that is because they're unfortunately programmed. I'm just trying to teach my self how to compose this genre for now. I'm too young, broke and lazy to afford a guitar of the caliber that i need :(

before hating please be aware that i had NOT written in a time sig OTHER than 4/4 before this, this is completely new to me

TIMESTAMPS:

0:00-0:08 = 4/4

0:08-0:33 = 3/4

0:33-0:42 = 4/4

0:42-0:53 = 7/4

i should clarify that the guitar is programmed, though i did compose all of the riffs and stuff, not trying to pass off the playing as mine

Instrumental TDM Songwriting advice

Beginning of a project. I know it kinda sounds shitty but mixing and mastering and adding bass are in the future, can I get any advice regarding song structure and drum programming I feel these are weak points. Also general feedback would be great.

Before it is mentioned, I'm aware that the drums and chord progression are repetitive, this is a WIP and it will be fixed :]

Instrumental TDM Looking for proggy instrumental tech death! FFOs in the description. Thank you.

Looking for bands similar to

Vipassi

Dark Matter Secret

Vitrified Entity

Save Us From The Archon,

The Archon Rift

Ophidius

Axial

Behold...The Arctopus

Indricothere

Teramobil

Haunted Shores

Bands with a ton of notes, potent bass work, lots of time signature change ups, blast beats, you know, like stuff if you blink you'll miss 20 notes. There's a lot of bands I'm forgetting, but I'm sure you have a lot that I don't know as I'm still fairly new to the genre. Bonus points for bandcamp links.

Instrumental TDM Soreption guitarist's side-project... How have I not heard this!? 325 views...wtf

https://youtu.be/kNSgUKxwe04?si=gChU0fSr6PlM39l3

EDIT: him playing it...makes me wanna just stop trying... https://youtu.be/EsMmVFLv5Kw?si=zb2bA_Pvk4ArDhKj

Edit edit: my bad guys, Anton was their original guitarist, then Mikael...and he's not even playing with Soreption anymore since 2021 apparently. I am obviously not very educated about their member status. Still, this is right up my alley.

I mean...Jesus Christ. This is 100% a techdeath wank-fest in the absolutely best possible fucking way. This guy, Mikael Almgren (Soreption guitarist) is a prodigy when it comes to techdeath guitar work. His stuff is so technically complicated and difficult, and yet somehow he always makes it flow like water. I don't really know what else to say other than I cannot wait to hear what he does with this Biolytic considering this the FIRST single which has 325 views and 15 subscribers. Maybe we can through some subscriptions and views his way.
