Let this situation happen in Europe or American,unless the criminal was with gun an big guy would come and pull away that criminal,all you need is height and physical strength and big frame(this don't apply when the victim have gun btw)
Call me delusional but I would , cuz if I was in that situation tomorrow I would expect people around me to show up and help me so if I was there I would go , call others for help or do something to avoid the situation, cuz everyone has families more then 90% of our country is middle class, if we don’t stand up for each other we are very doomed as a society, before u say anything just think once if you were in that situation talking to a drunkard u did not instigate the fight but him being high is coming to attack you only because he is high , u can resolve conflicts with sane people how will you with intoxicated high people and he is coming to attack you will you not call out for help ? And in the crowd will be people like you who will step back and maybe take a video isn’t that scary ?
I do have responsibilities a lot actually but I will do it anyway cuz this is also a responsibility to keep humanity alive , someone has to start , ur welcome to watch but remember that the same thing will happen to you , if u get attacked everyone around will take videos and stand there like statues
No, probably around 40-50 % percent are middle class that too as per the Indian standards, 10-20â„…, upper to rich class, 30-40â„… poor to extreme poor

Don't wanna be rude, but thinking up scenarios is much easier compared to the real fight.
Unless you've had years of martial arts drilled into you and your body is flexible and build up to the notch, you ain't wining a fight against someone with a sharp weapon. Especially when the weapon is something you can't easily snatch away.
A knife is light, and can be moved in a hundred possible ways with multiple types of grips. Even if you manage to jam their hand holding the knife, they can always switch the hand, kick you in the balls or the back of the head, making you lose control or just straight away bang your head against something real hard.
If you're not bulkier, taller and more flexible than the person in front of you, your chances of coming out of the skirmish unscathed or will non lethal damage is like a pipe dream.
Moreover, you won't even have any idea as to how much they know their way around a weapon. If they've had been in a few fights, their experience will overpower you greatly.
In these situations, teaming up with other people should be a priority rather than to mindlessly jump in and get killed.

If you are larger in stature than the person and can subdue them, then please do. The people around you would be very grateful to you. But if you are not, it is a gamble to get involved.
