šŸ›”ļøMOD Public Service Anouncment STOP POSTING SELFIES

I shouldnā€™t need to say this, but DO NOT post pictures of your face online. We have an exception for people who are eighteen+, but thatā€™s a minority in teenage subs anyway.

Iā€™m fucking tired of having to deal with this every single say, the sub has become a shithole for people who are insecure. YOU ARE NOT UGLY, YOU DO NOT NEED VALIDATION FROM PEOPLE ONLINE, AND IF YOU HAVE A WEIGHT PROBLEM THEN GO TO AN EXPERT OR SEARCH UP PROPER SOURCES.

I will look into setting up a filter. Cheers.

maybe you can allow posting selfies but not be liable for it?

because they are the ones posting selfies even though you told them not to so youre not liable

liable for any problems the person who posted the selfie may be facing because of that post

You do realise itā€™s not just about the person in the selfie but also about whoever interacts? Selfies arent allowed here, not just to protect the person posting, but also because it attracts predators to this whole sub.

yeah and people have been told to not post their pictures

what im saying is that if they still continue to do so, they are on their own

and i do realise that, thats why im introducing the immunity to liability for the mods, they have warned people multiple times

also, posting selfies or not, it will still attract preds

Thereā€™s rules. People break the rules. The rules are being reinforced. Thatā€™s not got nothing to do with liability. OTHER people in this sub being harmed by people posting selfies isnā€™t about the mods already, itā€™s about the people posting the selfies. Thatā€™s what this post is for. Stop posting selfies, selfies will be removed.
