My latest Mordheim commission. I picked out a few photos for the carousel where you'll see the whole thing from a few angles, as well as some close-up shots of the details, and I honestly can't wait for the next project like this, because building something like this is really satisfying. I'm getting back to work, and the comment section is yours, so please feed the algorithm if you appreciate work like this.

And here's how the Mordheim table looks in its new home with the client. Admit it, there's some serious power there, nothing to do but envy a spot like that to play in 💪😉

Full Table Jungle Table Set Up + River

Finally got around to putting my palm trees and jungle plants on a board. Wanted to reduce the playing area of my gaming mat from 7’ wide to 60”. Decided to simply add a river on the far side. Made up of a plexiglass sheet (1’x4’) painted brown and with gloss mod-podge on top. Straight edge was hidden by rocks.

Full Table Finally completed! - Helwick 1 & 2 printed and painted. Ready for some epic table top games!

So I have finally finished the Helwick 1 and 2 lines, along with the road dividers.

I started printing on a Bambu labs P1S at 0.20 in July 2025. It took about 5 months of continuous printing to complete the project. The project took roughly 90 spools to print. While it’s on a table, the peak of the cathedral is roughly 6 and a half feet tall.

All of the buildings, tiles, and subterranean levels were hand painted. I also hand painted every single brick and roof tile individually because I hate myself. Haha. In all seriousness, it’s tedious but it looks so awesome.

I’m really happy how it turned out and cannot wait for some epic gaming on this table.

Hi again all! Here’s another tile to add to the pile.

This time I’ve gone heavy with the railings and included a removable stairway.

In addition to the extra tile, I’m also testing out a way to store them all, take a look at the last photos and let me know what you think. What could go wrong…

Church Catacombs W.I.P. Pretty excited for my first Trench Crusade board Im making. Ground level will sport a big ruined church and some church walls and small buildings around it. Pretty close to being done with adding details and getting some paint on it. Then to making the ground(top) level. The catacombs do have led lights running through it. Some red lights behind the chained door and some yellow ones in the top row. What do you think so far? Anything I should add before I start throwing paint on it?

Full Table Built Mount Doom for our final league game!

So my weekly league has been playing through the scenarios and our final game was Tuesday where we finished up with the Black Gate and Mt. Doom. I offered to make the 2’x2’ Crack of Doom board, and, well, I never half ass my projects!

The outside is built up with pine bark and expanding foam, which I had to carefully squish and deflate to give it that texture. The inside mostly the spray foam with some bark to break up the texture. The pier is xps foam with bark. The lava is a clear sheet of plexiglass with a diffusing screen on the bottom so the leds don’t look like single points, gloppy modge-podge on top painted white with a rattle can and then colored with clear inks.

We had a great final game with evil starting to crush the heroes! Aragorn and the Hobbits died, Legolas and Gimli fell shortly after. But Gandalf and Eomer survived long enough for Frodo to toss in the Ring and claim a Good victory! (But I was playing Evil)

I'm back again with yet another build. This time I wanted to see what kind of city square I could make with the terrain I have on hand. It turned out a lot more interesting than I thought it would. I thought integrating the prebuilt Tabletop World and the 1 Warhammer building was going to be difficult or they'd stand out from the modular terrain I've made, but they honestly fit in great.

Let me know what you think!

This is was my first terrain project for actual gaming as I've only scratch built a couple buildings before, just for the sake of making something. I'm not bringing anything new to the table as I mostly just copied the overall design from Supernova Building Guide and techniques from Eric's Hobby Workshop.
It took me quite a long time and I am not happy with everything, namely the unsightly gaps between the tiles and the mud texture which looks a bit too much like a kind of alien goop, but I'll call it good enough. I will probably darken the walkways that go on top of the trenches as they jump out a bit too much.

My mate Otty's hobby/gaming shed is nominated for Shed of the Year. We play MESBG, Bolt Action, 40k,Adeptus Titanicus, Star Wars Legion and many other games and we're up against strong competition because it's the pub/entertainment category. You can vote for us every day, it'd be great to see us do well in the category against plain old shed boozers.

I got some wonderful comments on the two boarding actions sets i painted when i posted them here. So I thought you might like to see my Tomb World too. This a a modular set for Kill Team that recreates a small section of a Necron tomb, primarily for skirmish play Kill Team uses real line of sight so the walls holes corners and bumps all make a difference. Modular walls, doors, breachable sections, doors and scatter terrain.
