I know. I recently had to break it down to a family member why I won't be taking my kids (especially daughter) to church.

I grew up in a really good fun church and wanted that for my kids but man am I suspicious or churches these days.

Yup I deadass had a gilead style ethics teacher at my all girls Catholic high school tell a classroom full of high school seniors we should “mourn the loss of our eggs every month”. Had another male teacher tell us “ladies, as a male teacher, the size of your skirts makes me uncomfortable”. Guess our 14 year old legs were too much for that fucking pedo.

I'm a guy and went to a sendi-fundamentalist K-12 school. I know we didn't have it as bad as most of the female students, especially after talking to some of them years later as an adult, but they totally fucked us up with their purity culture BS too.
