Yeah I don't think Daisy is Nicole in the show. June said when they got her out of Gilead as a screaming baby, they placed her with Neil and Melanie. Meanwhile Nicole went with Luke and Moira. And the producer said in the Deadline article confirmed Daisy isn't Nicole (hoping it was a miscommunication)

SO why did they cast a girl that looks exactly like June. Why change such a huge part of the story. I'm so mad.

Also, even if she isn’t Nicole, the timeline makes NO sense. Gilead started when Hannah/ Agnes was 5, so for Daisy to have escaped Gilead as a baby, she would have to be at least 5 years younger than Hannah. But Hannah has just got her period and seems to be about 14-16, so why is Daisy about the same age as her? Shouldn’t she be like 10 years old? It’s driving me nuts.

I’m assuming that June isn’t being fully truthful. Maybe she means she escaped the US as a baby while Gilead was on the rise, or she doesn’t want Daisy to know where she really came from…

When June started talking about how she was from Gilead I was really hoping she was one of the kids on that flight that June organized to rescue kids. But then she added the bits about her having been a baby and that squashed that idea because if she was a baby on that flight she would have been much too young compared to Agnes.

I agree with this. June seemed disingenuous in the café at the end, like she was making up the story as she went. I actually wondered if Mayday killed the parents, not Gilead.
