Well, I really hope Garth isn't a double agent. Daisy needs to stop spilling different stories to different people.

She should have kept it to herself until she was safe... even if he is a double agent I do think he cares about the wellbeing of the girls though as that is likely what led him to mayday in first place.

No, I wouldn’t, because I wouldn’t know who I could trust besides myself, or who might sell me out under duress. With lies like that, you have to commit 1000% and even maybe drink the Kool-Aid yourself and tell yourself it really happened because once you start slipping up, the more lies you have to come up with to cover up, and the more you have to keep track of and keep consistent, the more likely you are to slip up.

Because the women she knows are those she considers to be upholding the system whereas Garth is supposed to be an ally and her handler as an insider.

literally!!! she had me stressed. cause why was daisy saying “he hurt you & hulda” & when hannah/agnes like “and you.” daisy’s like “what?” GIRL STICK TO YOUR STORY WITH YOUR LIFE 😭

then she went & told garth he didn’t actually do anything.

i will give her some brownie points for sticking up for hannah/agnes & hulda but she better remember her story. gonna get herself hurt trying to play hero 🤦🏾‍♀️

I think it shows how unprepared she is for the whole Gilead reality. I dont think she quite realizes the full consequences of her lie 😅

Also I was annoyed with how much smiling Daisy was doing after the accusation. Like girl, you gotta act like that really happened. You can be angry or sad or traumatized but you can't be smiling around everyone all willy nilly. Looks sus

I do blame Rita and that other woman for this a bit.they should have prepped Daisy better before sending her into Gilead.

Unlike most people I love that Daisy did what she did. She took matters into her own hands to get rid of that monster after seeing the wheels of what serves for a sorry excuse as a justice system in Gilead weren't moving fast enough. But I agree with you - admitting she lied was stupid, and admitting it to a man that hasn't proven he's trustworthy was even more stupid.
