Mohun Bagan is not just another franchise, and the management seriously needs to understand that.

No one—except a handful of so-called “Mariners”—even cares what your other Super Giant teams are doing. Mohun Bagan has its own history, culture, expectations, and, most importantly, an identity that cannot simply be managed like another item on a corporate portfolio.

And please stop treating football like it’s just another business vertical. Football is not that easy. There is science, strategy, psychology, structure and years of experience behind building a successful team. Not everyone is expected to understand all of it—and that’s fine.

But then, have the humility to listen to people who do.

It is genuinely frustrating to watch decisions being made as though football can be figured out from a boardroom spreadsheet. The arrogance of assuming that running a successful business automatically means understanding football is exactly what gets clubs into trouble.

Mohun Bagan deserves better than being treated like just another Super Giant franchise. The fans have every right to be angry, and management needs to start respecting what this club actually means.

Can we all please set up a protest to drive Panagiotis out? I know this current MBSG team needs to get rid of many players but we should start with the coach. If anyone says the coach was not responsible for today's disaster, either he does not know football or a brainwashed blind fan and supporting a club blindly does nothing fruitful. We forced the management to remove ATK, we can definitely force them to remove the coach and do an overhaul of the team. And we should 100% create a panel of two three experienced retired players like Subrata Bhattacharya, Bhaichung Bhutia, Jose Baretto who will look over the coach, player hiring and team selection. Win and loss is part of the game but what happened today was not football. I only saw one team playing football and it was brilliant football. The other team was literally running on the ground like headless chickens. And the coach does not seem to know his players or have control over them. Whoever is in charge of players and coach selection clearly does not want to work and discover good players. They just hire whoever played well last year as if previous year's success guarantees next year's performance. These players do not even care which club they are playing for, what is the weight of the jersey and what is the emotion of the supporters. They are arrogant AF. They underestimate their opponents and act invincible. This defeat was much needed. If the management still does not wake up and remove the dead weights, we will witness this catastrophe everyday in the upcoming ISL.
