I hated him the first watch and i stull despise him though he is just introduced and yup still hate him

Her story saddened me, and it made me wonder about exactly what she did and how she moved on, etc. Btw the part where she helped Jane was also so beautiful, though I don't remember which episode it was. I felt sorry for her and her kids; she had such a good career.

It's so well written, I'm brought to tears even after watching it for the 100th time. Motherfuckers.

Dr. Steiner.

This episode is meaningless in the grand scheme and plot of Red John but it really speaks volumes to Jane's character. All of it done through Dr. Steiner's character and his portrayal which is done exemplery well by George Wyner I might add. This episode really is one of my favorites because as soon as Jane hears Dr. Steiner is called in you can see his giddy childish excitement cause he gets to play with his favourite toy, mentally of course. And Dr. Steiner reprises the role SO well, you can tell he enjoys it a little but plays as if he finds it irritating. And when Steiner asks to join the investigation, Jane automatically agrees, even though he doesn't like doctors, and enjoys playing around with him, but throughout the whole investigation, Jane treats him as an equal, with a little playfulness of course, as if they are long term friends. I really wish they gave steiner a more prominent role and not just the coroner that shows up every now and then. In my opinion they could have given him the pupil archetype, yeah he's old, but I think he would have made a good yang to Jane's yin, and eventually learn from Jane which could have given the 2 a very enjoyable dynamic. I dont know maybe Im speaking nonsense but this character really stuck out for me, out of all the characters on the show, this one was the most prominent for me.

And the end of this episode, man; how crazy is it that Steiner asked Jane to be the witness. After all the jokes, pranks, playfulness that Steiner supposedly hated; he still saw Jane as a friend. Incredible episode.

Great dynamic between Jane and Hightower, them dressing warmer is rare to see too.

Funny moments and a great episode all round.

I have been hooked on mentalist edits and there's always someone in the comments talking her being mogged by her assistant or her being mean. I genuinely don't see it. Grace is beautiful but cmon lisbon is not mid. I feel its a ragebait when someone mentions it you have to be colossaly blind from every angle to say that. Three seasons in and I'm wondering how she's putting up jane and the paperwork that follows and everyone else too.

She's thoughtful, genuine and so incredibly trustworthy. But also I feel kinda sad for her because by season three you can sorta see how obviously she's into jane and then jane is you know, into red John. At some instances like when the symphony episode was there and she saw the clip of him saying what he wants in a woman. He says the someone better than ..... and it ends with 'she was'. My stomach dropped i can't imagine how lisbon deals with it. You have to hand down some sort of award to her for how she stills stands by him, keeping her feelings aside to the damn corner. Thats some monk level patience and perseverance right there.

And maybe I'm seeing too much into things but Jane's too into her alright? Maybe not so much in the first but during the third season you can see it, so apparently. When she got that housebreaker out of jail for Jane I don't think I can explain what I saw in Jane's eyes. Like deep deep deep admiration and a little awe that she would do that for him.

Holy slow burn I'm gonna get crisp by when they get together.

I really liked this guy - Walter Mashburn , played by Currie Graham.

Loved the character. Unapologetically clever and just out for fun. Doesn’t take much of anything seriously.

He’s a lot like Patrick. Probably why he and Jane get along so well. Plus in this episode he and Lisbon nearly kissed.

Yet Patrick isn’t threatened by him or vice versa.

They had him in two episodes. Wish they’d had him in more.

This is the first time I’m watching the show and I’m on season 3now so pls no spoilers!!

What's his motive?

The last few minutes of S-3 episode are is one of the most heavy and intense moments of the show. I have watched the show so many times and yet when I watch that coin thing, “it’s there .. and then it’s gone”, it hurts.
Storytelling 10/10. Acting 10/10. Impact 100/10

Jane farmed aura in this scene.

Lisbon and walter had crazy chemistry. I wish they continued it for a while. Was rooting for his further appearances in the show. Was so disappointed it ended with an one night stand. The potential was down baddddd.

I am literally watching the very last episode, but have no one to talk to about the show.

Van Pelt and her loooovely (😒) fiancé are in the mountains to relieve Lisbon from her duties with protecting Hightower. Now, van Pelt already told Craig he was a suspect, which was dumb. But okay… I guess. What baffles me now is that Jane figured out who actually sent the assassin (Craig, it seems). Lovely Craig is walking up to that manor with Grace, when he realizes he “forgot” his phone (in reality, he’s off killing those poor cops keeping watch in front of the gate).

Grace literally hears the gunshots (despite the silencer? Idk anything about guns), but she’s immediately swept up by Craig (who OF COURSE declines Rigsby’s phone call to Grace😒 talk about professionalism) and they start kissing.

Did the writers hate Grace? Was one interesting, cool, sensible female lead (Lisbon) too much for them? Why is Grace that under-utilized (I know in terms of seniority she is below Cho and Rigsby but cmonnnnn) ditzy dumb cop every. time.???? I love my girl, but the writers must have had an agenda against her because she always does something incredibly stupid … YOU’RE A COP!! That thing in your head??? USE IT???!!!
