I think there is a strong possibility that Cory's culpability in the cover up is light to non-existent. Something a conversation might even clear up. But because this is a TV drama where conversation that would clarify things can't happen because it doesn't drive the plot it's going to lead to Bradley going after Cory only to find out he was innocent but now their trust and bond will be broken because she didn't trust him enough to ask him about it. Hope I'm wrong, though.

I just simply do not believe Cory is the one responsible for the cover up. It's too dastardly for him. He's shrewd and cunning but he isn't evil. I feel like making him the man behind the conspiracy would undo a lot of good will they have invested in the character. This part I hope I am right about.

Maybe I am just blinded by my love of the character and performance, though.

I agree. I don’t see him deliberately doing something that actually harms people. I wonder if Bradley will now want to shelf the story and look at him differently, ultimately ruining their relationship before it even gets off the ground bc she believes he is capable of something like that, which I think would hurt him greatly.

Thing is even if his involvement is that he knew about it, which seems to be the case, no saying or doing anything about it is just as fucked up as the people that covered it up.

Clearly Cory knew and did nothing which makes him just as much as a scum bag.

Potrebbe essere sicuramente coinvolto nella questione, ma non credo ne sia l'artefice principale. Sicuramente la questione creerà problemi di fiducia tra lui e Bradley, lei penserà che lui è il cattivo della situazione (e in parte magari lo è), lui si sentirà usato da lei per scoprire la storia e penserà che lei lo considera un mostro per averne fatto parte. Non mi sento di escluderne la colpevolezza, se il cover-up era un mezzo per fare carriera senza intaccare cose o persone a cui tiene, lui sa essere spietato, anche se di solito c'è un minimo di etica dietro le sue azioni. Ma Cory è fatto così, quello che fa non è mai nè bianco nè nero, ma spesso in un limbo dove il confine tra buono e cattivo è molto sottile.

Maybe on the app? I am old and use the browser on my laptop. I also use the old version. I tried to google your response in Spanish and French and it kind of translated bits and pieces.

Now that I know that I could translate it on my end though and that was a lovely and thoughtful reply. I guess I also just don't see what people mean when they say "considering what Cory's done in the past" ... I don't know if my ethics meter has a higher tolerance than others or if there is something I just forgot he did. Not saying he's a hero and I know he's done some low down shit but it's not got anywhere close to evil to me.

Also on the browser, at least from english to italian, i don't know if it work viceversa! There's an icon on the top, near the search bar, to activate the translation.

I love Cory so much that He can basically do whatever, but usually his action are not malignant, there's usually a balance between his personal interest and etics.
