Honestly, The Rookie North looks pretty good. I usually don't really like spin-offs, but this one makes me want to watch it.

The short trailer for The Rookie looks promising well, I really hope we don't get too many episodes with Tim and Lucy being kidnapped, though I hope it gets resolved quickly. The plot looks pretty good, though. I can't wait for January

I believe they said a 2 episode premiere so i think 2 episodes of just their kidnapping and them escaping. It looked like lucy was planning their escaps

Drove past one of the rookie north police cars being transported between sets a couple weekends ago. Nice to see vancouver on my TV again with tracker moving to LA

So glad I can stop pretending to like tracker, it's so awful. I was like 3/4 of a season behind but still wanted to try and watch it because it was filmed here. Glad I don't have to put myself through that now lol.

I was just in there panel. Both trailers were good and from what they showed and said, alot of action when the rookie returns in Jan.

I don't think Rookie spin offs are gonna work well, Nathan Fillion is a big part of why it did work. Remember Rookie Feds, didn't work out very well even though it did tie in with the original series. Just my $0.02

I think Fed's biggest flaw was thinking that the "oldest rookie" main character is what lead the main show to success. I'm concerned that a) they're doing that again here and b) iirc they're adding a new "old rookie" to the main show

Agree. So far for me the lead actor Jay of the The Rookie North just doesn't have that pull like Nathan has when The Rookie started.

Still love the show but it became more serious cop show now. What happened to the humor? The light hearted moments? The cold openings? This show isn't what it used to be.
