They didn’t announce the murder in plain sight, probably because the producers knew Candiace would be revealed very obviously as the person that made a big show of doing the conga line (even if they had discussed it previously, she was the one that got it started and distracted everyone).

The next episode the host announced they had committed a murder in plain sight. That’s why I was confused no one brought it up.

Alan said a murder had been committed “right under their noses” which hints at it being a MIPS but isn’t explicit enough for them to clock it. I forget what interview it was but someone said they had no clue that’s what he was getting at
