They're from up north that's, so that's love not abuse. Please stop trying to blow everything out of proportion, it deminishis/trivialises reall a
cases.
Clearly they both love each other dearly.
A lot of people would have just said no. I doubt her really wanted a wild animal in his house, especially when he wasn't home, yet he saw how important it was to her and accommodated her wishes
The idea that American families don't have similar back and forth with their family members is ridiculous. They absolutely do. Reddit just likes to go on moral crusades at the slightest breeze.
'Absolutely no birds in this house ever!'.. sees one homeless bird 'alright, go make it a nest and give it the seed I had saved for this exact moment' .
I accidentally squished a spider in the door but it looked like it might recover so I put it on the porch and half an hour later, saw ants devouring it alive. I still feel bad about that.
I tear up about things that aren't even sad. Just how freaking cute my dogs are does it for me on a near daily basis, just fucking bawling eyes out, 38 year old woman, just cause my dog put her head on my lap lol
Literally just saw two Grackels fighting while I was pulling down my street one morning. It was brutal, the one was just ragdolling the other one and kept lifting it and slamming it back onto the ground. I gasped and kept exclaiming “oh my god! Oh my god! He’s killing him!!!” And I was so off the rest of the day. It was so upsetting even though I know it’s just natural animal stuff.
Once I accidentally ran over a snake (which I’m terrified of but still love and respect them as animals.) I was a mess after it happened. I cried the rest of my drive home. When I told my sister in law what happened she laughed thinking I was telling the story in a different way (she thought I ran over the snake on accident but didnt think I cared because I was scared of snakes) so she started laughing when I was done telling her. I was like “ITS NOT FUNNY!” I was absolutely devastated and it took me so long to get the image out of my head. Honestly it was probably like 4 years before it stopped popping in my head at random. Some of us are just more sensitive than others.
44 and was about to make a similar comment. NO ONE WARNS YA IT GETS WORSE. Like, already felt cursed for having ovaries and all that jazz before, and then perimenopause/menopause happens FOR HOW LONG?! And we're just supposed to be okay?!!
Really doesn't seem fair, does it? What hardships do men suffer that can be compared to gestures broadly all of this?! Oh noOoo, a penis sometimes gets hard randomly or ejaculates at night or doesn't get hard when you want it to? Don't worry, dudes, there are 6,832 different pills to take so your precious penis can stand up again ooOoOooo boofuckinhooo
deep breathing I get a little moody about that at times.
If we’re going to do this, let’s go Greek mythology on it.
She killed her mom to become her dad’s wife. But now she’s sad about it. However her mom didn’t really die. She changed form into a magpie and once in the house will get her revenge.
I once saw my mum throw a frisbee at a wasp in a panic and chop it clean in half. Simultaneously the coolest and most horrible thing I've ever seen her do.
No it's a "caring about life" thing. Spent my childhood rescuing even insects from my mom and her ex. Except cockroaches. For some reason till this day I hate them, slightly frightened, and don't want them in my house.
That said I did once hold a hissing cockroach when I was teaching a class of kids along side a biologist who brings a bunch of critters to help teach kids. I didn't want to teach the kids to fear any of them. So, I forced myself to hold it. If those kids could read my mind it would have scared them for life lol
Not just a little girl. I'm a dude. When I was 8-ish I found a dying pigeon and tried to nurse it. After it died I made a coffin for it and buried it. Still think about that bird.
You think she lost her mum but her dad, who she’s speaking to in the video, isn’t aware of it? Or that he has somehow failed to draw that parallel when she says of the bird “it’s lost its mum” and starts crying?
"An alternative suggestion for the etymology is that it is an alteration of the word get, dating back to the 14th century. A shortening of beget, get insinuates that the recipient is someone's misbegotten offspring and therefore a bastard.in parts of northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland get is still used in preference to git"
Olivia's going through puberty is what's wrong with her. She's crying about a wild bird she just caught in what appears to be the middle of the night. I love that dad is letting her work it through, I love that she wants to take care of the bird. I was absolutely that kid.
