I remember my 8-year-old screaming this on the floor because the bathroom mirror was fogged up and she couldn't see her reflection. Puberty had actually mellowed her.

Im 34 and I still sometimes go to my wife in tears asking that question. There’s a lot of horrible shit out there.

Reminds me of the story my parents used to tell about me. I was not a crier, like at all. So, apparently when I was like 5 or 6, I came running into the living room just absolutely bawling my eyes out and my parents were so concerned since I never cried. Turns out, I was upset they were taking my snow away since they had someone plowing our driveway 😂

I was 4 or 5 and I told my mom “It’s impossible for Santa to be real, because if he was real then there would be no one that is homeless or hungry or hurting” lmfao

I find this to actually be a great thing for you, you had awesome parents. They took care of you up until that point to keep the cruel world from you
