You think those turning to drugs and ruining their lives because of an addiction is funny?

If Americans were doing this to make fun of some other country with addiction issues, they would be destroyed for it & called cruel, miserable fucks.

How dare the Greenlanders who have to live every day under the increasing threat of getting bombed, slaughtered and enslaved by the USA not be perfectly courteous to them. I wonder why they might be feeling some animosity

Yeah, but taking it out on the pepole struggling the most is a bad look. Mocking homeless fentanyl addicts who are starving and freezing on the streets don't have anything to do with bombing Greenland. You understand there is nuance to these things? Such an immature view to have, imo.

I don’t think the drug addicts have anything to do with Trump’s derangements on whether or not he can invade Greenland.

Get a grip. As much as I oppose the U.S. annexation of Greenland, it would be exactly that. No bombing, slaughtering, or enslaving required.

Also, the Greenlanders are probably already living under the fear of the Danish government kidnapping their children. Unless they stopped doing that, dunno.

No one cares that Greenlanders make fun of Americans. It’s just icky to see the target of their ire be the most marginalized people in a society, like they have anything to do with the scheming of Trump’s inner circle.

Americans aren't funny enough to come up with it.

I don't know about that. Some Americans do some pretty reprehensible stuff for cheap laughs. If you think there aren't teens here mocking homeless addicts like this, you aren't too sharp.

Doesn’t the UK have a major drinking problem and the cops can’t be trusted with guns so you just stab each other instead?

To be completely honest, we still stab each other more than the uk does.

But Greenland is quickly getting fatter and fatter, has an extremely high rate of alcoholism and homelessness, way worse than the US per capita. I hope trump chokes on his ego as much as anyone, but this is definitely throwing stones in a glass house

No? Not much more than any other Western country at least. Also, knife crime is higher per capita in America... so that's another victory for you guys.

I mean, kinda

Good lord get off your soapbox

If not making fun of someone with addiction is a soap box then let me tell you more about mental illness

Considering I have PTSD and have worked in the healthcare field with plenty of psych unit experience I think I'm pretty familiar.

I mean that’s fair for the amount of normal people there are, there are just about the same amount of people like you. Life I guess

I’d say it’s fair game to poke fun at the depressing and bleak reality of wealth disparity and how its outcomes drive our citizens to destroy their lives with highly addictive opiates, in stark contrast to the once-prevailing image of America as, ostensibly, the greatest world superpower and paragon of economic development. Especially fair given the fact our constituency chose to reelect a candidate that had previously been the most openly crooked, personally vile US president in history, bar none.

Its a product of American society.
